AMERICU ANNOUNCES SALUTE TO THE TROOPS TRIBUTE CONCERT TO BE HELD JUNE 28, 2012 AT 7PM ON FORT DRUM FEATURING NATIONAL COUNTRY MUSIC RECORDING ARTIST

ROME, NYJUNE 4, 2012: Judith Cowden, Vice President, Member Relations and Marketing Division with AmeriCU Credit Union announced today that the AmeriCU Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert will be held th June 28 at 7PM as part of the U.S. Army Morale, Welfare & Recreation Divisions Mountainfest on Fort Drum. The inaugural concert will feature top national country recording artist Jake Owen. Ms. Cowden said, AmeriCU Credit Union has operated on Fort Drum since 1988, so we have a deep understanding and appreciation for the sacrifices our soldiers and their families make in valiant service to our country. This is the first time we have had a full nest on base in ten years, and we wanted to do something really special to celebrate. We are so pleased that Lockheed Martin and B104.7 have joined us in making this event possible. We are expecting between 30,000 and 50,000 people to attend the FREE concert, which is open to the public, and will be followed by fireworks. Based at Fort Drum, NY the 10 Mountain Division is a light infantry division of the United States Army. The division is comprised of four subordinates of Brigade Combat Teams, a Combat Aviation Brigade, and a th Special Troops Battalion. The 10 Mountain Division is among one of the most deployed units of the United th States Army. This spring is the first time in over 10 years that Fort Drum will have a full nest of the 10 Mountain Division on post.
