Another addition to the family

On May 16, Brooke Hunter (Kennith and Clarice Holls daughter Lura is mother of Dustin who married Brooke) woke up at 11am with contractions and cramping. The next day she was expected to go into labor. With Dustin taking the day off, the family enjoyed eating and walking to speed up the process of labor. Later May17 @ 11:00pm, the contractions stopped. Dustin and Brooke were waiting in anticipation of their new arrival for many days with no signs. The night of May 24, the family had decided that hwhy (God) will let this happen when He is ready. Brooke prayed and submitted her will to Him before going to bed. May 25 @ 12:00 am Brooke woke up with strong contractions and knew it was going to happen. She arrived at the hospital at 12:30 and delivered at 1:02am. She only had 7 minutes of pushing.

Another addition to the family

5/30/2012 Wednesday night: Sarrah is trying to adjust with sharing mommy and daddy. I,Dustin, had to sleep on the oor next to her bed last night. I did not have the ght in me at 1:30am, but I was not going to give in. She wanted to sleep in our bed Rayah means--> Yahs, hy,(God in Hebrew) friend, Gods beloved, or beloved of God. It is pronounced RiYah. We are grateful for all the prayers and best wishes.

Doing Better: Prayers are needed

Wendy Lefebre (Ken Holls sister Doris and Dever Detrick had Rodney and with Donna they had Wendy) reported the following about Bob Guils health (Ken Holls sister Margret and Leonard had Dolores who married Bob Guil). This was a message from Janice Holl/Redden to Wendy. Bob is now on a medical regimen & doing very well. I had lunch with my Dear Sis today. He has prostate cancer that has metast tolymph, and I believe they also think thebone. But the good news is, it can be treated, and he is feeling so much better. He is up and about, eating, (which he wasn't before). The treatment will not cure. But he is now comfortable, without the pain and general overall discomfort. Lots ofpraying going on..don't hesitateemailing Delores. I know she would love to hear from you. I love hearing from you too. Janice Holl/Redden... 5/27 Yesterday was the hardest day of my military career. The Chaplain and I walked up in our ASU (Dress Uniform) to a house to notify a wife that her husband was killedin-action. I could barely get the words out and hold back the tears that every family member of a Soldier fears hearing. As I started speaking I watched as her eyes lled with tears and the smile she had on her face disappeared. I could only imagine the pain she feels as I watched her weep and curl up in a ball. I ask that all of you please pray for all of the families that lost service members. Please know I am not writing this because it's Memorial Day I am writing this because this was really my day yesterday and it truly has impacted me.

I was totally impressed to see what the family was doing and her ability to capture the spirt of the family. It feels good to be part of a big family. I hope that we can all share our news and information through our own publication. There are social networks that are available, but it is not focussed around family. 1) Had a wonderful time at Cattleman's on Hub and Kris Morphew's birthday celebration on May9, 2012. Lura, Don, Sharon, Heather, Jim, and KJ with also there. 2) Went to Napa on 5/22 through 5/24 and stayed atShell Vacation'sMeritage Vino Bella Resort with my good friend Louise Hunt.We love the Spa/Wine Tasting/ Massage "Cave" built into the side of a hill behind the resort!

through the last few chapters KJ story & Easter study Reection: Easter eggs, of Mark for a Biblereect I'm attending, and as I on Easter bunnies, hunts, new dresses, the cross, the grave, new life, new covenant, the Holy Spirit, Jesus!. Last month, we were talking with KJ about Easter as we colored eggs. "Kj, why do we have eggs at Easter?" "Because eggs are white and Jesus cleared our sins!" We explained how Christians gave new meaning to some of the pagan beliefs about spring, but as I reect on Easter, I think KJ's got the right idea. I've been reading what an incredible gift Jesus gave us in his willingness to suffer and die, have his Father forsake him, then come back to life. We now have new life and the precious gift of the Holy Spirit living in us. We are pure and clean before God. prayer summit a couple weeks ago. God challenged me to stop striving, stop scheming, and to submit all semblance of control I think I have to him. I'm learning to trust that He is truly in control and I need to obey his voice. An extra special bonus to the prayer summit I was at - Aunt Lura and Aunt Kris attended as well. It was fun to eat together, worship together and prayer together. Next year, I think all the women in our family should attend. How cool would that be!!!

KJ and I had a great time hanging out with Brooke and Sarrah at the Folsom zoo. Sarrah kept growling at all the animals and chasing KJ around. KJ's favorite part of the zoo was reading all the folktales posted on the fence where we ate lunch. Then later...way later that night Brooke and Dustin had their sweet little girl. Glad we went to the zoo Thursday instead of when we planned on Friday. Jim took me (Heather) on a 33 mile bike ride for Mother's Day. Every 5 miles he'd hidden a sweet note (under a rock, buried in the ground, taped to a tree) for me related to motherhood. Then we took a break at Karens in Folsom and

had dessert. It was an awesome July 3rd, just in time for memory! reworks on the 4th. Yippee! Pray for strength and wisdom as Holl's & Meyers: Mom we close up our house and get it ready for the MAF couple and dad signed the paperwork moving in to it in August. We'll for the new house in the be without a house helper this beginning of May. They've time, so Jim and I will be started building it in Orangevale, so we should all be cooking, cleaning, and preparing things all on our own. No moving there sometime in microwaves, dish washers, September or October (we're dryers, vacuums...and tons of hoping earlier). Today, May 29th, we meet with the designer dusting, mopping, preparing food from scratch. Back to the to do some last minute decisions about ooring, paint, pioneer days! So pray for patience, consistent electricity, etc. It's been a fun and challenging process trying to get working water pump, as we divide our time between everyone to agree on things. keeping up the house and the work we need to get done.

This summer I am so excited to be going back to Brazil. I am going to Sao Paulo, Brazil to work with Restoration Ministries there. This is a ministry that works with 4 different slum areas. I am going with 14 others from Arcade Church. We will be putting on a vacation Bible school for about 25-30 children. They will be bussed to Camp California and spend the weekend just being kids and having fun mixed in with learning about God through the Bible school. The children will be at the camp for the weekend, then our team will be going to the area where they live, do home visitation and ministry in the streets for the children. I am excited to be able to see the amazing things God is doing in Brazil through this ministry and to share them with you. Our team needs as much support as you can give; your prayers, your nancial support and if you have an item that you could donate for our silent auction, we would appreciate that as well. Our silent suction will be June 10th. You are invited to join us at Arcade Church for the BBQ and auction. I hope you will partner with us. Thank you for your support it is appreciated very much.
