Leader:

Yesterday was the solemn feast of the Holy Trinity, so we shall use that gospel reading today. We remember the loving relationship of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. When we bless ourselves, we repeat the formula.

We pray, In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Guide us Lord in all our relationships that we may reveal our faith and reflect your love. Response: Leader: Reader: Response: Leader: In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen. Jesus makes a great promise to his disciples as he sends them out to do his work. He will be with them always, to the end of time, as he is with us. A reading from the gospel of Matthew 28:16-20 Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ If you were being sent forth on a pilgrimage or special mission, how would you prepare. Think of companions, what you would take, what you would leave behind. Invite students ideas. Some may have had this experience in a school sponsored experience. All: Our Father

Song: Holy, Sacred Spirit, (Monica Brown CD) OR we Believe, (C. Walker, As One Voice).
