They were completely malnourished and riddled with worms that some of them were having seizures! Snoopy was one of the lucky ones as his sister Fay lost the battle to recovery and sadly passed away. After being in foster care for only a few days the rest of the litter had flourished into lively, active pups who love playing and being cuddled.

He could not walk when we first got him, he had a fractured pelvis, holes in his paws and he was very malnourished. However today she is a happy, confident dog! She is also very sweet natured and not aggressive at all, but already house happy, she does not want to stay outside at all. She really is quite beautiful and she is well mannered, she takes food very gently from your hand. She is a real peoples person and she gets along with all dogs (big and small) and has a very positive impact on them. She is also a fast learner, she already listens. However, she does chase cats - not to eat them but as a game and she has a HUGE bark. Other than that a great addition to any family! In the picture- she is the dog on the right!

She has such a gentle placid nature about her. She gets on well with all her other foster dogs and recently got a certificate for completing her basic obedience training. A true pleasure to have.

Gender: Female +/- Date of Birth: unknown +/- Breed: GSDx +/- Size when grown: Medium General: Meet Grace. This poor girl was rescued from the spayathon. Her back right foot is completely mangled. Her paw pads actually face upwards :-( She obviously had a serious injury (approximately 3 years back already) and was never treated. She doesnt use that leg but still gets around as best as she can. The vets have assessed her and decided that until her injury becomes really painful or until he looses complete mobility of that leg (as he can put some weight on it) - that its best not to do an amputation for now as its an extremely painful operation and they try avoid it unless its absolutely necessary. In the future it is highly likely they will have to amputate but for now she her pain is being controlled wiht meds and she is coping with it. However, she now needs a loving home. Her owners were able to see that the life they could provide in the township for a dog that cannot walk properly is not fair and gractiously surrendered her to us - with the hope of a better life for him. Please help her now. We dont know how old she is. She is not very old but she is older than 4 years. She has a very gentle nature and is good with other dogs. She doesnt want for much except some love and a warm place to sleep at night and some TLC. She will be sterilized as soon as she is healthy enough to do so.

It would be really great to have them go together.

ADOPTION INFORMATION
NB!! Please keep in mind, when wanting to adopt very young puppies and kittens that they still need to eat three to four times a day so they cannot be left alone for an entire work day. They will need a babysitter at first, so please ensure that this is sorted out before adopting.

PETS POLICY
All PETS puppies and kittens are being fostered by different families, as PETS believes in a FREE RANGE policy where the puppies and dogs are integrated with families, other dogs, cats and kids immediately to help them cope and recover. This also helps them to adjust to normal life, so when they are adopted they are not Cage Babies. All our animals that we rescue share our beds with us as well as our own pets lifestyles. So they are all healthy and well adjusted.
