The students will introduce themselves to each other and they will be given the opportunity to ask each other and the teacher questions. The teacher will also ask the students random questions about themselves. Teacher will introduce himself to the class as most of the students taking summer camp have not met me formally. I will show them a presentation about my life, my country and my family. I will take questions that any of the students may have for me. I will then quiz the students about the information I have given them about myself. The students will be divided into their cap groups. Each group must come up with a name and a war cry. The students will decorate a scoreboard that will accumulate the points that they earn throughout the camp. Students will watch some superhero short films. Teacher will explain the common elements between superheroes and their lore. Then the students, in their teams, will individually create their own super heroes. The super heroes will be drawn and they will be given statistical points so that the kids can play the superhero game. Students will be then use their characters to play the superhero battle game against their friends. Each student will earn points for their team. 3 points for a win and 1 point for a loss. Students will watch a video about space. And the planets. After the video the students will be given the opportunity to ask the teacher questions that they have about space and the video. Students will be given the NASA survival exercise. Teacher will split them into groups and explain exercise. In their groups, they will decide which items are the most important and which are the least. The winners will get a prize. Students will watch videos about famous inventors and what they invented or discovered (Benjamin Franklin, Albert Einstien, Thomas Edison and Nicholas Tesla). Teacher will explain the significance of these inventors. Students will perform their own experiment (citrus battery) OR if there are no available supplies I will ask the students, in their groups to make their own invention and draw it. then each group will explain what their invention is and why it is a good invention. students to watch the videos carefully and try to figure out how the magician performed the trick. I will then reveal how the magician performed the trick. The team with the most correct answers for the tricks will win a prize. Students will be given the means to practice and pull off their own magic tricks. I will show the students how to do the tricks and then they will practice the tricks. At the end of the lesson the students will put on a magic show. Students will watch a few K-Pop live performances. The students will then, in their groups, form their own K-Pop bands. The students must create a group name and individual stage names. Students will then write a short song within their groups to perform for the class. The music for the groups will be the same; just the lyrics will be different depending on what the individual groups come up with. The groups will practice the songs a bit more and then they will put on a K-pop concert/competition for the end of the lesson. All the groups will vote to see who wins the competition. Students will play English related board games. The teacher will in each case explain the rules of the games and then the students will play the games against each other in groups. There will be pair work activities and a feedback session to make sure that the students are able to follow instructions. The students will be given treasure maps that the must follow to find the treasure. The students will have to take pictures (on their phones) of all the landmarks along the way to ensure they followed all the instructions correctly. Students will be taught the basic elements of a story: character, plot, introduction, exposition, climax, resolution etc) and will be shown a short story where they will then try to identify the different elements of the story. their own stories. Then the students will have to tell the rest of the class their stories. The students in each group will all have a chance to read a bit of the story to the class. The students will watch a short mystery movie. When the movie is finished they will work on a worksheet that will test if they understood what happened in the mystery movie. The teacher will go through the worksheet with the students. The students will play some mystery games. They will all sit in a circle and one student will be designated the detective and another student will be the killer. When the killer winks at the other students the must pretend that they are dead. The detective has 5 guesses and must catch the killer before the whole group is dead. After this game the class will play Cluedo. This is a mystery board game. The teacher will explain it to the students and then the students will be allowed to play. The students will be taught the vocabulary to read a story. The students will then read the story and the teacher will then also read the story and summarize the story with the students. The students will then participate in a quiz. The students will be asked to answer the questions relating to the story on a white board and show their answers in a similar way to the Golden Bell competition. The winner will get a prize. Teacher will teach the students words relating to health. The teacher will also teach the students the different basic food groups, important vitamins and minerals. The teacher will inform the students why each of the food groups, minerals and vitamins are important. The students will then be asked to create a 5 day menu that includes breakfast, lunch and supper. The menus must try to include all the food groups in their meals. The students will vote for the best menu. The teacher will bring a world map for the students to look at. The teacher will then show the students different countries and traditions found in some far away countries. The students will be given worksheets based on the presentation that they have just been shown. The students, in their groups, will then make their own countries. They must all come up with a name and a flag for their countries. All the countries should have a national animal, sport,

anthem etc. The students will present their countries to the rest of the class. The teacher will read the students a story. Then the teacher will go over the story with the students. The students will play the bomb game quiz with questions relating to the story. The group with the most points will get more points for their chart. The students will watch a movie that they choose. They will vote for the movie. Teacher will allow the children to do their favorite parts of the Winter camp program (board games, superhero battle etc.)The points given out throughout the whole camp will be accumulated and the winners will get a prize.
