The scope of this work is lifting and installing operation of front beam and V columns to the concrete slab by tower and mobile crane. Column quantity is 4 pcs. And total beam length is 36 meters.

This document is for general guidance and does not remove the responsibility for safe erection. 6.1 6.2 6.3 6.4 6.5 6.6 6.7 6.8 Only competent operatives shall perform the construction works listed. Only persons trained in scaffolding trainings on the grade intermediate works shall perform the activity. Works will only start once restricted area is signed at level2 and level3 and the Contractor HSE officer have performed the necessary gas tests and equipment inspections. Communication will be verbal and where possible also visual. Safe system of work shall reflect best industry practice and act in accordance with all Municipality regulation. Site condition should be clean and dry before and during operation and same condition after the termination of the work. All electrical systems must be off before operatives enter the signed and confined place at level3. Barricades and the signboards shall be displayed indicating the hazard to prevent personnel accidentally entering the area.

METHOD OF WORK
Activity Description: Task 1

8.1

Firstly will be prepared V columns base plates places with epoxy and bolting. Columns will installed and fixed to the beam on the ground. And installation will proceed by two steps. First step will install till deletation and second step is after dilatation joint. First Beam total length is 23 meters and to this beam will installed 3 pcs. V column. Main lifting operation will be proceed by tower crane. The beam will lifted vertically to the base plates point. And plates will inserted to the bolts which of installed on the concrete slab. Main mission is keep first bolt lines on the concrete slab to the first bolt holes on the palets. After by tower crane all columns of the beam will laying 10 degrees to the inside of the building. And beam side bolting holes will approach to the beam which of installed to top of the concrete beam in side of the canopy. ( picture 1, 2, 3)

Tower crane will continue to keep the main beam with V columns on the position which of must be installed. Bolts of base plates of columns will be immediately fixed, After by mobile crane will install first subframe beam between middle beam and canopy front beam. (Picture 4,5,6)

After installation of firs joint beam mobile crane will change its place to the another side of the tower crane. The Reason to change of mobile crane location it is to get safe installation process without any damages and failures. After changing of location mobile crane will installed last joint beam of the installed beam section with columns. (Picture 7,8,9)

Second part of the canopy will installed simply by tower crane. Will not need mobile crane because during installation of second beam will possible make bolting to the sides of the beams which of located in the right and left sides which of installed before.
9.0 RISK & CONTROLS
