Alfonso, Jeunice Arvee S. BSED-3 No. 10 Understanding our Evolving Role 1.

What role will academic technologists play in accountability efforts? To meet these new demands for accountability and usability, the role and skills of academic technologists must evolve. And this role would mean that academic technologists are expected to act as an expert resource on best practices in educational technology. 2. How well do academic technologists understand the scholarship of teaching and learning? How do they maintain current knowledge in the field? Academic technologists aims the following: to advance teaching, learning and communicating through innovation and the strategic use of academic technology hence; they are expected to have a thorough understanding of the institutions vision and how various educational initiatives impact university practices.
