Apparition

Apparition In some areas of Shimla, people have continuously reported the presence of ghost like figures at midnight and in early mornings. The ghost like figures have been the subject of various fascinatingly haunting tales from the area. May be after knowing the exact meaning of apparition, you would want to know these figures. It is a Noun. Cessation

Cessation In the monsoons, waiting for the rain to cease/stop is like a wet dream. Cessation of rain is almost impossible in hilly places like Shimla and Cherapunji, isnt it? Well, this noun speaks of the same stoppage. Its first usage dates back to 15th century. It has originated from Middle English cessacioun, from Middle French cessation and from Latin cessatio, all of which means delay. Pronunciation: se-sey-shuhn Meanings of Cessation 1) Stopping/suspension/discontinuance of something (temporary or permanent) 2) Ceasing Masters Tip to learn Cessation Cessation can be learnt easily by associating it with one of the rhyming words, which is Alsatian. Domicile In simple words, it is the place where a person lives. Pliant Ever seen a tree dancing from left to right and right to left in fierce winds? If yes, then you would know that fierce winds in the end take the trees down, but do not give up.
