Aim of the Program: BSIE To prepare students for a professional Industrial Engineering career including a leading role in the design, improvement and installation of integrated system of people, materials, information, equipment, and energy. Graduates of the program must have specialized knowledge and skills in the mathematical, physical, and social sciences together with the principles and methods of engineering analysis and design to specify, predict and evaluate the results to be obtained from such system. Course Outline: This course deals with the concepts of CAD (Computer Aided Design or Drafting), using AutoCAD software application and Google SketchUp for 2D and 3D design on Architectural, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering and Manufacturing. General Objective: A. Cognitive 1. Be able to define and execute command in CAD; 2. Can apply draw command tool used to create drawings in CAD; 3. Can appreciate the usefulness of the knowledge and skills in Computer Aided Design as applied in his/her professional development. ` B. Affective 1. Be sensitive to the attainment of the college mission related to effective education and training in Science and technology which includes knowledge in computer fundamentals and programming. 2. Adapt the appropriate knowledge and skills in actual work; 3. Maintain and develop interest in learning. C. Psychomotor 1. Can manipulate and construct objects in CAD; 2.
