Chunati Wildlife Sanctuary Chunati Wildlife Sanctuary (CWS) established in 1986. It is situated in 70 km south of Chittagong City on the west side of Chittagong Coxs Bazar highway in the Chittagong Civil district. The absolute location of the place is 2158' N and 92 04' E. Chunati Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the five protected areas where forest department has initiated co-management approach. Local people and Forest Department working side by side for protecting the wild life. Chunati Wildlife Sanctuary is included with two ranges consist of 7 beats.

Procedure & Discussion

Our aim is observe the forest cover change of Chunati Wildlife Sanctuary and collect the data to deduce it. In our first field investigation we went to the seven beat offices of Chunati Wildlife Sanctuary. We stayed one night at Chunati and did our work. We first collect the data of beat map and mouja map. By the help of GPS machine we located all the waypoint. We took the photos of the place and interpret some basic map of of the beat forest. Our collect some data by local people and the beat officers. Our main aim is to demark the actual boundary of CWS. There are three database of our work Gadget Notification Remote Sensing Ground Observation. We have collected some documents which will help us to provide a informative report of this project.
