EUROPEAN ZODIAC
IN THE LIGHT OF THE GLOBAL ECONOMIC CRISIS

The Academy of Scientific Astrology is based on astronomic principles confirming to the IAU convention.
The calculations are performed on the HORIZONS integrator by Jon Giorgini of NASA JPL, Pasadena CA.

1. MOTIVATION

A zodiac is more than a calendar and as such
important for every civilization. For the first time
in European history, we do have a zodiac of our
own as firmly based on astronomic principles.
The Academic Zodiac was conclusively
introduced in the year 2006, after a turbulent*
period of research. We had to learn many things
that were unknown to our predecessors, namely,
what is a planet? Which constellations are
spanned by the Moon†? Does Venus enter
zodiacal Auriga? In counting the zodiacal
stations, we came to an interesting number, 22.
The impact that the Academic Zodiac is bound to
make on planetary consciousness is exorcising in
its importance‡. This is the first time in human
history that we feel comfortable with the zodiac.
Prior to the determination of the Academic
Zodiac, we have left our zodiacal problems in the
hands of superstition. Many scientists did not
even know that there is a zodiacal position such
as Moon in Auriga or Venus in Scutum. In fact,
many did not know the position of the Sun. A
brief ephemeris strip will show that the Sun is in
Libra on November 23rd, and thus shortly put an
end to millenary superstition§. Precession will
put light on the factual ascendants as rising at
east, since it determines the circular flow of
eastern ascendants. The number of the eastern
ascendant is 16 for the current epoch. This
problem was never treated before in any
astrology. The universal Cartesian house system
as operating on spacecraft, under water or
through alien galaxies** solved the housing
problem for the next generation††.
2. PROBLEM
Can we predict and avert world economy crisis,
even in midst of financial meltdown? Our answer
is yes at the personal and even collective level.
The answer lies within excellent prediction,
along with reality rendering‡‡. There may be
alternatives to market analysis through the
apparently well-known world of predictive
astrology. Superstition was never good at
determining anything but its own reach into the
superstitious mind. As soon as there is no
superstitious mind§§ at all, superstition loses its
reach and diabolic purpose. In order to determine
the peaks of the global economic crisis, we
needed the appropriate tools. Luckily, those tools
were ready at the time when crisis started. The
first serious peak was determined for mid August
2007. The Academic Zodiac was defined one
year before the event. A decade before Venus
entered Hydra, we determined its impact upon
world economy. Albeit Venus in Hydra is a
comparatively rare zodiacal event, what stirred
our concern was the synchronicity*** of 2002
AW197 in Hydra†††, in diving down from Cancer
as if to meet Venus there.
3. APPROACH
The zodiac we use is the astronomic zodiac.
Astronomy is a reliable science in determining
the real position of the planets‡‡‡ against a
conventional zodiac. Thus, the astronomic zodiac
confirms very well to the historical ones.
Europe’s legacy is mainly the Greek zodiac,
which was in turn inherited from older
civilizations. This zodiac was never perfected
until 2006, when the Academic Zodiac was
finally defined. The zodiacal positions such as
Venus in Hydra, Mercury in Orion or Moon in
Auriga were delineated much before year 2006.
The year 2006 defined the zodiac by simply
taking out one planet, namely Pluto, which was
demoted from its planetary position. The
demotion of Pluto made for a compact
astronomic zodiac as consisting of only 22 IAU
constellations. The historical zodiacs include the
P1, P2, X, G, N1, N2, M and E zodiacs. If 2003
UB313 were to be proclaimed planet, we would
need to expand the zodiac towards more than 40
constellations. Nowadays the recent position of
Pluto in Serpens Cauda is not treated as zodiacal,
but rather a P-zodiacal position, in conformity to
our recent studies. Note that Serpens Cauda
remains one of the 16 eastern ascendants for the
current epoch, most prominently as the historical
ascendant of the USA. Conversely, Eris in
Sculptor is an X-zodiacal position.
4. RESULTS
The results of our research are enlisted as follow.
™ The formula “As above, so below” can be
applied in genuine astrological prediction.
™ Resonance between a stellar and earthly
event is intercepted with excellent timing.
™ Market trends can be predicted to the minute
within the Academic Zodiac environment.
™ The Academic Zodiac with its 22 zodiacal
stations is a reliable scientific environment
in which to place accurate market
predictions. Enterprise, traders and talents§§§
are precisely determined according the true
positions of the planets in the real sky.
™ One of the world economic crisis peaks is
determined by the entrance of Venus in
Hydra, along with giant real estate
cubewano 2002 AW197.
™ Superstition is not scanning the real sky, and
thus useless in market analysis.
™ The dwarf planets**** offer the means for the
accurate prediction of market trends††††.
™ The accurate positioning of an object in the
real sky, that is, against the Academic
Zodiac makes for enhanced precision in
astrological market prediction.
™ Whether within the 2004 ~ 2018 span, or the
larger 1999 ~ 2085 period, there are several
ways in determining crisis peaks, globally,
as well as in particular study cases.
™ Personal as well as global prosperity is
rendered at will‡‡‡‡.
5. DISCUSSION
The scientific zodiac is an excellent aide in
personal as well as global prosperity rendering.

found larger then Pluto, resulting in the demotion of Pluto from planetary status. These dramatic changes
affected the definition of the Academic Zodiac.
