The kids have worked so hard on their claymation movies all term, and their final products were wonderful! It was fantastic that so many parents and grandparents were able to attend and experience the movies on the big screen. I will be sending home DVDs of the movies tomorrow, please let me know if you would like additional copies. I must extend a huge Thank You to Leanne Adams who hosts us at The Majestic. It is such a wonderful resource for our town, and Leanne always makes us feel so welcome! Finally, this is my final newsletter at Pukeokahu School. I would like to thank you ALL for your support over the last two and a half years. Cody and I have really enjoyed our time here, and will definitely keep in touch in the future. Hopefully I will see you all to say goodbye on Saturday for the Pot Luck Dinner, and if not definitely at the Ball! No excuses there! Get out your glad rags girls! Ball Decoration Crew Meeting - Monday 2nd July @ 7pm This meeting is to discuss decorating for the ball. Any questions please ring Janey 388 1622 Kids Shared Lunch and End of Term Party - Friday 29th June The children will be cooking a special shared lunch on the last day of term. The kids have decided on spaghetti and meatballs with a dessert of pavlova and ambrosia, YUM! So, I dont think there will be enough to share with the parents, but you are welcome to come at 2pm to do our dishes ;-) Farewell Pot Luck Dinner For Marama and Cody At School Saturday 30th June at 5pm All are welcome to come and say goodbye. This will be pot luck, please also bring your own plates and cutlery as there may not be enough at school. If it is wet, we will put a movie on for the kids in the junior room. BYO Waiouru Powhiri - Waiouru Marae - Monday 16th July I would really love for my Pukeokahu Whnau to join me at my Powhiri next term. My Dad is coming over from Australia to speak for me, and Andy will also speak. At this stage it is scheduled for 10am. I will ring around closer to the date with the details.
