MAJOR IT PROJECTS ABSTRACT-1

1).Project Title: Multi-Lingual Online Examination Software : This is an online examination system for conducting online exams in any subject. The questions will be populated randomly for each user and in any language(preferably English, Telugu and Hindi) and an AJAX Timer control will be used to set the duration of the exam for a given subject. There will be two levels of users in this software. One is the admin user , who will set the examination questions by loading these questions into the database from the front-end developed in .NET. He can also create users who will be taking the examinations and he will be having access to the reports of the examinations conducted. The next level user will take the examination by entering his username and password and selecting correct answers. All the questions will be multiple choice.

3).Project Title: Image Tracing by Digital Water Marking Technique

The possibility of adding several watermarks to the same image would enable many interesting applications such as multimedia document tracing, data usage monitoring, and multiple property management. In this project, we present a novel watermarking scheme, which allows inserting and reliably detecting multiple watermarks sequentially embedded into a digital image. The proposed method, based on elementary linear algebra, is asymmetric, secure under projection attack and robust against distortion due to basic operations such as storage, transmission, and format conversion. Today's computing world mostly relies on Internet for its day-to-day activity. Almost each organization in world use Internet for its operation. But as Internet provides limited resources, there is a sort of competition of accessing resources. It provides traffic in the Internet. If this traffic is not handled carefully then it will result in congestion. So one must consider the facts related measuring and handling Internet traffic. Measuring the traffic of Internet can start this traffic management. Anlysis of output of previous step may provide good simulation. This is further useful to model traffic and use certain ways to provide good traffic management. Traffic management is key for quality of service.

8).Project Title : Intranet Mailing System The aim of the project was to develop an Intranet web based mail client system connecting to a Linux server running a mail server and with Apache as the web server. The aim is to implement the necessary functionality to the users such as receiving and organizing mails through IMAP and Sending mails using send mail. All these are provided with the graphical interface so that the users can do their desired work smoothly. Apart from that, the administrator can create and delete user accounts through the Server. The system starts with the welcome page prompting the user to establish his authentication.
