The Antichrist Revealed (Addendum to "Another Jesus") By Jeffrey D. Dean Sr.

Who or WHAT is the "antichrist" in scripture? Many of you will be amazed at just how simple the answer is to this question and yet, at the same time will be surprised at how far more complex is the answer when compared to how it is answered in modern Christian theology. Modern Christian prophets write best selling books on this subject and even make blockbuster movies. Their depiction of "antichrist" is nothing more than a fable, a fairy tale and has absolutely NO basis on any reality within scripture. There is a reason for this. I will state it openly and flatly at the beginning of this article, I will not mince words. They preach a coming "charasmatic" man who will rule the modern world at some future point and this preaching is nothing but a SATANIC SMOKE SCREEN to keep the believers IN THE DARK as to the true identity of this "antichrist" predicted to come upon the world. It is quite deliberate in its deception. Men like Hal Lindsey, Jack T. Chick and Jack Van Impe and their SATANIC followers have been weaving their witchcraft for years and many have been led astray but their days of false prophecy are coming to a close.

THE ANTICHRIST IS A TRINITY CONNECTED BY THE SPIRIT OF HATE

That the antichrist of which we were warned is a SPIRIT no one can deny not without completely denying the writings of the Apostles. St. John (who wrote Revelation and had the most clearest grasp of the coming antichrist) stated emphatically that not only is the antichrist a spirit but that he was ALREADY IN THE WORLD during his lifetime.

1 John 2: 18 "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time."
We shall go right to the heart of the matter here by examining these words of John. First note that he identifies a single antichrist spirit which "inhabits" MANY people, thus creating "many antichrists." This is CRUCIAL to understanding who (or what) is antichrist and it's also crucial in understanding the CONTEXT of the first letter of John. He wrote that letter to reveal the seducing antichrist influence to those to whom he was writing. It's why after he states in 1 John 2: 18 that there are "many antichrists" already he says the following:

1 John 2: 26-27 "26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. 27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him."
John repeats a common theme in this first letter which precedes the book of Revelation in the Bible. That theme is TWOFOLD. 1. That there are many DECEIVERS who have come in among the believers and 2. They seek to thwart the MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. Notice in verse 27 above he states that openly, reminding them that the "anointing" which is the HOLY SPIRIT (or Christ IN US) will keep us from being seduced and deceived by the antichrist spirit. It is SIMPLE to understand, therefore, that the antichrist spirit is the spirit which fights directly AGAINST the HOLY SPIRIT ministry in us! It was the VERY PURPOSE of John in his first letter to reveal this great COMING APOSTASY which he foresaw in his vision known as "The Revelation." The first thing he does is identify it as a SPIRIT that DWELLS WITHIN the "children of disobedience." So, just as the HOLY SPIRIT dwells within the BODY OF CHRIST, the antichrist spirit dwells WITHIN THE BODY OF THE ANTICHRIST! It's a mirror IMAGE of the true. So, we have SATAN, otherwise known as THE DEVIL and he has an UNHOLY SPIRIT (antichrist spirit) which dwells in the body of his FIRST BEGOTTEN SON (the son of perdition) and all those who FOLLOW the son of perdition in his error also have the SPIRIT of ANTICHRIST IN THEM making them all "one" even as the HOLY SPIRIT makes us ONE with the FATHER and ONE with HIS SON, Christ Y'shua. John states that the antichrists "came out from the BODY OF CHRIST!"

1 John 2: 19 "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us."
John also identifies them as those who CHANGE the NATURE OF WHO CHRIST IS!

1 John 2: 22 "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is

antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son."

One might ask, at this point, can it really be that simple John? The antichrist openly denies that Y'shua is the Christ? Well, actually, John's statement is NOT so simple. He quantifies the denial with "he that denies the Father and the Son." We do know that Messiah himself stated that he who has the Son has the Father also and he who denies the Son does not have the Father. So why did John feel it was so important to state that the antichrist spirit denies BOTH the Father and the Son? Denial of the Son IS denial of the Father. Some say that was John's point exactly. I think it goes deeper than that. We have to keep READING in order to truly understand HOW this denial of the SON takes place among the antichrist! John says that we must "let that which we have heard from the beginning abide in us."

1 John 2: 24-25 24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life."
Notice, again he says "shall remain IN YOU." He repeats this phrase "IN YOU" and "IN US" throughout his letter. It is PIVOTAL to his message as we shall soon see. In verses 26 thorugh 29 he CONCLUDES that if you allow this "anointing" which you have received (the Holy Spirit) to ABIDE IN YOU and if you ABIDE IN THIS ANOINTING then you shall remain in the SON and in the FATHER also. We have already looked at verses 26- 27 now let's look at 28-29.

"28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. 29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him."
According to John, ABIDING in the SON and as a result abiding in the FATHER leads us to DO RIGHTEOUSNESS and is the PROOF that we are BORN OF HIM. This was the SUBJECT or CONTEXT of his even mentioning the antichrists (seducing lying teachers) to begin with. It's why he starts out chapter 2 with the following: "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:"

He's stating that those who "abide in the Son" and who have the son "abiding in them" (the anointing) will NOT SIN and will DO RIGHTEOUSNESS and warns them that any spirit that teaches otherwise is ANTICHRIST! He states openly that if you DO RIGHTEOUSNESS you are "born of him." He also states that the converse is true of the antichrist. The antichrist DOES NOT DO RIGHTEOUSNESS. We read that in the next chapter.

1 John 3: 1-8 "1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil."
Those who continue in their sin, according to John are "denying that Jesus is the Christ." It REALLY IS THAT SIMPLE yet it's FAR MORE COMPLEX than what is taught about antichrist by modern Christianity. If you "abide in the Son" according to John YOU DON'T COMMIT SIN! Those who say they abide in Christ but are living lives of sinful flesh are LIARS and they are DENYING that

Jesus is the Christ! How? Because, if Jesus is their CHRIST they WOULDN'T SIN. As Christ said the the multitudes "why do you call me Lord, Lord, but don't DO what I say?" When we sin, we deny his LORDSHIP OVER US! We are NOT ABIDING IN CHRIST WHEN WE SIN! Anyone who says they "abide in Christ" and have made him LORD over their lives but then SIN are LIARS! John makes this CLEAR. He says "be not deceived he that DOES RIGHTEOUSNESS IS RIGHTEOUS!" He foresaw a day when they would PERVERT the TRUTH of Christ and would say that they are RIGHTEOUS even though their DEEDS ARE SINFUL (OR EVIL)! This was "that spirit of antichrist" that had come into the world already while he was still alive!

1 John 3: 9-24 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. 11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. 12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. 13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. 14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. 15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. 16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. 19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. 20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. 21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. 22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us."
The "anointing" which we have received (THE HOLY SPIRIT) according to John abides IN US and all we need do is ABIDE IN HIM (in the anointing) and we shall NOT SIN. Why is that? Because the anointing is LOVE and when we LOVE we keep HIS COMMANDMENT and he truly IS OUR LORD! If you are sinning it means you are not ABIDING IN HIS LOVE. This was the message of John and ALL of the Apostles. That by ABIDING IN THE HOLY SPIRIT OF LOVE we could OBEY the FATHER and KEEP the commandment of HIS SON to LOVE ONE ANOTHER. If you are sinning you are "hating" and if you are doing righteousness you are "loving." The spirit of ANTICHRIST is simply the SPIRIT OF HATE! It truly is that simple. It's the OPPOSITE OF LOVE. Christ is love and hatred is ANTICHRIST! John foresaw a day when a RELIGIOUS DELUSION would sweep the world and it would teach HATRED rather than LOVE. It would teach that you CAN'T STOP SINNING (which is the same as teaching you can't stop hating). It would create a RIGHTEOUSNESS that is NO RIGHTEOUSNESS AT ALL! It would seek to claim that the followers of this delusion were RIGHTEOUS in GOD'S EYES even though their LIVES WERE SINFUL AND WRETCHED! He foresaw OUR DAY people because that is the day in which we live now and that is the Christianity that is being preached from EVERY PULPIT!

Yet, John goes into SPECIFICS about the antichrist spirit and how to identify it. We shall look at that now:

1 John 4: 1-4 "1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Notice if you will please that John makes two very incredible statements here. First, that EVERY spirit that merely confesses that Jesus is the Christ and that he is come IN THE FLESH is of God. I say that is a very incredible statement because according to John's criteria all a religion has to do is acknowledge that Jesus is the Christ and that he actually lived on this earth (in the flesh) is OF GOD! This includes MOST religions of the world! Buddhists, Muslims, Mormons, Jehova's Witnesses, even Wiccans and Satanists ALL acknowledge and do not openly deny that Jesus is the Christ and that he actually came in the flesh! If we are to understand John's statement they are all "of God." NOt only that, HITLER confessed that Jesus is the Christ and that he actually "came in the flesh." According to this statement of John's Hitler's spirit was "of God." Let's look at something else. The second incredible statement made by John here is that EVERY spirit that CONFESSES NOT that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is NOT of God. That really doesn't leave us with much hope of identifying the antichrist spirit. For James stated that "you believe there is one true God, even the Devils believe and do tremble." These days there is a movement among people, scientists and athiests who are casting doubt on whether or not Jesus actually LIVED or if he was just a myth. According to John those are the only spirits of antichrists we have to worry about. Furthermore, you would have been able to find those in John's day who would NOT confess that Jesus is the Christ, but you would have been hard pressed to find those in John's day who ALSO denied that he ever even CAME in the flesh! You might have found a FEW children, or Romans who weren't present in Israel during Christ's ministry when John wrote these words, but for the most part EVERYONE accepted that

Jesus actually existed, the only issue was whether or not he was Messiah (or Christ). There of some in modern times who have started MISTRANSLATING these verses of late. They are adding a word to the verses. The word they add is this "God." I'll use italics to show where they add it. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is God come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is God come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist" By making this ONE small change to the verses they think they can EXPLAIN everything, plus they have NOW invented a perfect reference that proves their belief in TRINITY! The only problem with this is the word GOD does NOT EXIST in the text where they are putting it. The word God only appears TWICE in verse 2 and it only appears ONCE in verse 3. They are REWRITING THE BIBLE to do this and guess what, they are also destroying the MESSAGE of how to identify the antichrist! The phrase "Jesus Christ is come in the flesh" is CRUCIAL to our understanding because WE are the flesh he is speaking of here. Christ is IN US. He repeats this theme all through his letter by saying things like "let that which you have heard from the beginning ABIDE IN YOU." Even in verse 4 of this same chapter he says "greater is he that is IN YOU than he that is in the world." Making it clear that CHRIST IS COME IN US and every spirit that DENIES THIS is NOT OF GOD! Simply put, my dear readers, the antichrist spirit denies that Christ has POWER over OUR FLESH! (Denies that Jesus Christ is come IN THE FLESH). The antichrist spirit says that you can NEVER STOP SINNING in clear contradiction to the teachings of John which state that if you ABIDE IN CHRIST and he ABIDES IN YOU you CAN'T SIN and you WON'T SIN for in him IS NO SIN! The spirit of antichrist denies that Christ is COME IN US, IN OUR FLESH and now has LORDSHIP OVER OUR FLESH! This is how the children of disobedience (antichrists) are clearly manifested to the world in the end times! Those who abide IN CHRIST shall bring forth the FRUIT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS and those who do not are TARES and nothing can be done for them but to be plucked up by the roots! Remember I said the antichrist is a TRINITY? Well, Christ himself identified the SON OF PERDITION (the second member of the ungodly trinity). That was Judas Iscariot.

John 17: 12

"While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled."
We know, therefore that there is an unholy trinity made up of Satan (the father of all antichrists), Judas Iscariot (the false apostle of Jesus Christ), and ALL who have the SPIRIT of JUDAS or SPIRIT OF DISOBEDIENCE abiding in them (and whom abide in the spirit of disobedience). What was Judas' error? He ran forward to shed innocent blood for personal gain all the while CLAIMING TO BE A DISCIPLE OF JESUS CHRIST! All who follow in his example are sons of perdition and are sealed by that unholy trinity union as children of the DEVIL! They are the children of LAWLESSNESS!

2 Thessalonians 2: 3-12 "3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be

saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness."
It's no surprise that the revealing of the antichrist is preceded by a "great falling away." One must ask oneself, falling away from what? The answer is simple, it's a great falling away from the RIGHTEOUSNESS that comes by ABIDING IN CHRIST, but ABIDING IN THE HOLY SPIRIT OF LOVE. That is why the son of perdition is "the lawless one." It is he who "abides in the temple" or IN THE BODY OF CHRIST but lives a DOUBLE LIFE OF SIN, declaring that HE HIMSELF IS LORD OVER HIS OWN FLESH rather than letting CHRIST BE LORD OVER HIS FLESH! The apostles saw a great deluding religion that would come and literally PREACH that it's okay to "continue in sin" after receiving the knowledge of Christ and would actually teach that you are RIGHTEOUS even though you DON'T DO RIGHTEOUSNESS. John warned and said "don't be deceived he that DOES righteousness is righteous." The apostles knew there was coming a day when they would say that you CAN'T BE RIGHTEOUS and that God only SEES you as righteous. The writer to the Thessalonians stated that they would "all be condemned" and why, because THEY HAVE PLEASURE IN DOING UNRIGHTEOUSNESS! They do not allow Jesus LORDSHIP over their flesh, thus declaring THEMSELVES TO BE GOD of their FLESH! Paul also forewarned of the coming antichrists who would "pervert the Gospel" of Christ and create "another Jesus."

Galatians 1: 6-9 6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other

gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
Jude,warned of the coming antichrist religion saying that they would turn the Grace of God into lasciviousness and claim that they CANNOT STOP SINNING:

Jude 1:4 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Peter also warned of these saying that they are "spots and blemishes" within the Body of Christ, those who CANNOT STOP SINNING:

2 Peter 2:1-3 "1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not." 2 Peter 2: 10 "But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities." 2 Peter 2: 13-15 "13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: 15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;"
The time is short my beloved friends! Do not be forever swept away by the lies of the antichrist spirit! Abide in Christ in Spirit and in TRUTH before it is too late.
