Texas All-Sports standings

Here are all-sports standings for Division I conferences other than the Big 12 that include Texas colleges. These standings are compiled separately from the U.S. Sports Academy Directors Cup all-sports standings and use different formulas that are determined by the conferences. Note: Conference USA (Houston, Rice, SMU and UTEP) and the Mountain West Conference (TCU) do not calculate all-sports standings.

The All-Sports Trophies are awarded for all conference sports on a 12-point system for all conference sports with values of 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 point, based on place of finish. Points are awarded regardless of the number of teams competing in the championship. Regular-season standings are used for sports that have a conference tournament. Point totals from the mens and womens all-sports standings are combined to determine the Commissioners Cup winner.

Volleyball and basketball are based on a combination of divisional and tournament finish; soccer, softball, baseball and football are based on regular-season finish; all others are based on championship tournament finish. Points are awarded based on the number of schools sponsoring the sport. Institutions not sponsoring a sport do not receive points in that sport. Institutions tying for positions split the combined points of their positions.
