________________________________________________________________________ June 2011- Present Library Assistant II at Fort Vancouver Regional Library Currently I work at the Ridgefield Public Library, which is part of the Fort Vancouver Regional Library system. Duties include: circulation, answering reference and readers advisory questions, creating and maintaining displays for the childrens area, processing magazines into the catalog, and clerical tasks. March 2012 June 2012 Multnomah County Library, School Corp Outreach Team I assisted a School Corp Lead Worker with a science program at an elementary school, and eventually prepared and led one of the programs. I worked collaboratively on a book discussion document for elementary school educators called Novel-Ties, and I presented my portion of the document at an afternoon workshop for educators. January 2012 March 2012 Multnomah County Library, Belmont Branch I assisted the youth librarian, Jane Corry, with story times and afternoon programs. I created, planned and implemented a story time puppet play for early learners. August 2010- June 2011 Babysitter for Moore family Two days a week I took care of Stella (5) and Finnias (3) Moore at their home. A typical day included: reading books Ive brought from the library, craft activities, playing outside, and taking care of their basic needs. On Wednesday mornings I worked at the

Moores custom business software company, AltSource, doing administrative tasks as needed. May 2008August 2010 Gift Processing Specialist at the Portland Rescue Mission Portland Rescue Mission is a non-profit organization that provides aid for the homeless men, women, and children of Portland, Oregon. For two years I worked in the gift processing department and my primary job duties included: making a daily deposit of all monetary donations, entering donor information into the computer data base, answering the phone, and training new employees. July 2007-November 2007 Barnes and Noble (Lloyd Center, Portland) I only worked at Barnes and Noble for a short time, but I learned a great deal about the corporate bookselling business. I primarily worked at the cash registers, customer service, childrens department and receiving room.

________________________________________________________________________ April 4, 2011 Tigard Public Library, 39 Clues party Holly Campbell-Polivka, Supervisor I had the opportunity to volunteer at a 39 Clues party at the Tigard Public Library. I helped set up the party area, supervised a craft table, and helped with clean up after the event was over. November 2009-May 2011 Multnomah County Library, Woodstock Branch Joan Smith, Supervisor I checked in holds and put them on the hold shelf. On occasion, I was asked to volunteer at library special events.
