Scope

This standard applied to the acceptance inspection of mechanical parts at the oyma plant. Mechanical parts refer to the following items which have mechanical, structural, and appearance functions. This standard does not apply to submarine repeater parts and items directly ordered from subcontractors by the manufacturing department. 1) Machined parts 2) Metal sheet parts 6) Plastic parts 3) Cast parts 4) Molded Parts

5) Rubber parts 8) Tools

7) Nameplates and labels

9) Printed wiring boards and Other

If both this standard and related standards below apply, this standard shall have priority. If both this standard and individual standard ( table 2) apply, the individual standards shall have priority.

Configuration of lost be inspected

A lot to be inspected shall basically be created from items of the same product name and model delivered together. Lots of the same product name, model, and acceptance date may be merged. 3. Inspection Report

If an inspection sheet is obliged by the purchase specification or order, its attachment and contents shall be checked. 4. Inspection Method and Evaluation Criteria 4.1 Inspection Method Test specimens shall be sampled, inspected, evaluated aas specified in Section 4.2 and according to the Attribute-Adjusted Sampling Inspection Standard ( ) and the sampling Test Standard ( ). 4.2 Inspection Items and Evaluation Createria

6.

Specification of individual Inspection Standard

See the individual inspection standard list ( Table 2). The xxxxx/xxx applies to catalogued products procedured 7. Inspection Method

Refer to the acceptance Inspection manual for Mechanical Parts (XXXX/xxx)

Handling and packaging of delivered Articles

When handling or packaging metal parts, be sure to wear gloves or finger cots or user tweezers to prevent discoloring by fingerprints. Select one of them according to the part shape. Plastic parts may be handled by an arbitrary method. After inspection, the parts shall be packaged as when delivered from the manufacture. If this packaging is not possible, however, package the parts so that they will not be damaged during transportation.
