COMMERCIAL PROJECTS

Training, configuration, Installation and Implementation of VTLS-VITAL (Digital Repository) at PMRC (Pakistan Medical Research Council) Islamabad Pakistan with the help of VTLS Malaysia Office has been completed in July 2008. Training, configuration, Installation and Implementation of VTLS-VIRTUA (Integrated Library System) at FJWU (Fatima Jinnah Women University) Rawalpindi, Pakistan has been completed in November 2008 as lead Consultant. VTLS-VIRTUA (Integrated Library System) successfully migrated to new hardware and upgraded VIRTUA version 48.0 to 49.5 with minimum down time at LUMS (Lahore University of Management Science). TECHNICAL SUPPORT I was providing on site as well as remote support/consultancy to LUMS (Lahore University of Management Science), FCC (Formen Christian College), NLP (National Library of Pakistan) and BMC (Banu Medical College) FJWU (Fatima Jinnah Women University) for VTLSVIRTUA and PMRC (Pakistan medical Research Council) for VTLS-VITAL. WORKSHOP(S) I have attended Social Tagging and Library Practices for Knowledge Organizations; workshop jointly organized by PLA Punjab, Knowledge and Information Management Academy (KIMA) and Punjab University Library & information Science Alumni Association (PULISAA) and University of Management & Technology on February 1, 2010. I have attended Monitoring and Evaluation of Electronic Resource Usage: An INASP (International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publications) workshop for academic librarians in collaboration with Evidence Based at the University of Central England hosted by the Higher Education Commission Pakistan Islamabad, 30th October to 1st November 2007.
