Gary Ackerman one dumb Democrat Gary Ackerman, a 30-year stain on the political landscape of New York announced

d his retirement, and in so doing said something that he wouldnt have otherwise: The people have gotten dumber. (See the link below for further details.) Damn right, Ackerman ... the masses HAVE gotten dumber, and the blame is laid squarely at the feet of your party. Can't read? No problem; we'll lower the passing grade? Cant pass your final exams? No problem; well let you graduate. Can't teach? No problem; we'll let you sit in a rubber room in New York with all the other illiterate teachers and those that have been pulled out of the classroom for all kinds of things such as sexually abusing students. Don't have proof of citizenship? No problem; come on in, and join the public school system. Don't speak English? No problem; the American taxpayers don't care if you don't assimilate and learn the language; don't worry, we'll spend our money to convert text books, and signs to make you feel more comfortable, and oh yeah ... don't know the Pledge of Allegiance? No problem; recite it in Spanish or just forget about it altogether. No education, no job? No problem. Just go on welfare. Don't have a husband? No problem. Just keep opening your legs and birthing more babies. The American taxpayer will pay for their upbringing. You're 50, 60 pounds or more overweight? No problem. We'll lower the physical requirements for cops. If you dont have the physical capability, endurance and stamina to run after a perp, you can just shoot him instead; thatll stop him. You're female, 54 and 120 lbs? No problem; women deserve equal rights so well just lower the requirements for firefighters. The wife of a 200 lb. firefighter, carrying another 60 pounds or more of equipment on him, will feel safe and secure that youll be able to rush in and carry her husband on your back out of a burning building. And you want to talk about dumb in New York, Congressman Ackerman? Lets talk, shall we? 1. Eight out of 10 city public high school graduates who enrolled as freshmen at CUNY community two-year colleges in the fall of 2011 required remedial work in math, reading, and writingor all three. And THAT 78.4% remediation rate was an INCREASE from the 74.4% of high school graduates in 2010 who needed remedial work in order to quality for more challenging college-level courses. And you know what CUNY officials said? They said (New York Post, 1/24/12) the spike came largely because last year they raised the skill level that students needed to demonstrate in order to be placed into a regular math course. When four-year CUNY colleges are included, the remediation rates for New York City high school graduates rose to 51.4%. 2. Over 40% of all births in New York City are to single mothers. In 2010, New Yorks Health Department found that out of 120,000 births just in the five of New York, more than 54,000 were born to single mothers, a rate of 45%. (For the entire state of New York, out of 243,000 births, 102,000 were born to single mothers.) 70% of births in the Bronx were to single mothers. In the last decade, New York City had more than 550,000 out-of-wedlock births, about 80,000 to teenage single mothers. Gee I wonder from which demographic these teenage moms are spawned? Venture to guess?

Its liberal programs and agendas that cultivate and perpetuate the complete destruction of family, religion, morals, values and integrity in this country. Its you, Ackerman, and the other demoschmucks of your party who believe the government should dictate to the people for our own good and THAT is why we find ourselves where we are today. Its why your state, New York, has a cesspool of an education system. Your party in New York only survives by sucking the breast milk of the unions there; you dont give a damn about the education of New Yorks students. Its the Democrats who have initiated, encouraged, and perpetuated decades of dependency ... and ONLY uneducated, uninformed and dependent people are dumb.
