Preface

Deeply impressed. So I left the Tesla factory in Fre- mont, located on the
other side of the bay of Silicon Valley, after a visit to a report for NRC
Handelsblad. In a brilliant white factory working people, on- dersteund by

Elon Musk. At first glance seem Musks ambitions boys dream: fast cars
and missiles. But behind those guys dream about a bigger vision. That
look later in this book.

In the Netherlands we often need a little chuckle to such views. Still, it is

worthwhile to delve into Musks thought. For he not only has great
