Description

If someone were to tell you that you need to get your mind right, you may take offense. But what if they are right? What if there is something in the way you think about your life and the success that is possible that is limiting you from achieving what you’re made to do? Kendra Kay Woods has learned from her own experience that her personal mindset is one of the biggest things that has limited her from reaching the level of success that she’s destined to reach. You can hear her story and find out how she can help you get your mind right, on this episode of Happy Black Woman. What will it take for you to finally start moving toward your calling? So many women in the Happy Black community are part of the movement in concept but have yet to take action on the dreams they have deep inside. The fact that you have to accept wholeheartedly is this: Nobody is going to do the work for you. It’s YOUR work to do, YOUR calling to pursue. There are plenty of women in the community to help you but none who can do it for you. You’ve got to get your mind right and start taking action. This episode may serve as the catalyst that gets you going because Rosetta is talking with Kendra Kay Woods, a mindset coach and true woman of action. You’ll be inspired and challenged to practically begin moving - maybe for the first time. Before you can invest in yourself you’ve got to get your mind right. When we talk about getting your mind right what we’re really saying is that you’ve got to begin thinking along the lines of what is really true - about God, about yourself, and about the world you live in. You’ve got to push away the false beliefs that you’ve held onto since childhood, the beliefs that keep you from taking action, from believing that you can accomplish great things. Kendra Woods is on this episode of Happy Black Woman to both serve as an example of a woman who has overcome her own limiting beliefs and as a coach to give you some practical advice about overcoming your own false beliefs and get moving on a better road toward a greater life. To change your life, start exploring something different, something outside your comfort zone. Whatever desires you have deep inside, they are not there by accident. They didn’t just show up one day out of nowhere. You’ve been designed for a purpose to accomplish specific things and those desires are an expression of what it is you’re supposed to do. But in order to see something come of those things you desire, you’ve got take action. You’ve got to put yourself in a place where something more is required of you than you are used to giving. That is the place you’ll begin to see yourself come alive and head in new and exciting directions. Kendra Wood is your guide on that journey and she’s got lots of tips and insights for you to hear, so be sure you listen to this episode of Happy Black Woman. The first thing you need to accept is that nobody is going to do it for you. Everybody wants something more than they are currently experiencing. It’s easy to wish upon a star and hope that it comes about. But that’s simply not the way things work. You’ve been given life as a gift and it’s your responsibility to do something with it. You can’t wait for things to happen. You can’t wish things into reality. You’ve got to take action that leads to the results you want to see in your own life. On this episode of Happy Black Woman, Kendra Kay Woods describes the path she had to walk to come to a place where she was willing to take action and develop the vision and God-given talent she’d been given. It’s an inspiring story and great encouragement for any in the Happy Black Woman community who are tired of the same old life they’ve been living.
