A STUDY ON IMPACT OF SWARNJAYANTI GRAM SWAROJGAR YOJANA ON YOUTH IN RURAL AREA OF SATARA TEHSIL

OBJECTIVES

To Know the Swarn Jayanti Gram Swa-Rojgar Yojana. To know the implementation method of Swarn Jayanti Gram Swa-Rojgar Yojana. To know the interest of youth in Swarn Jayanti Gram Swa-Rojgar Yojana. To know the participation of youth in Swarn Jayanti Gram Swa-Rojgar Yojana. To find out the changes in life of rural youth. To know the impact of Swarn Jayanti Gram SwaRojgar Yojana on rural area.

HYPOTHESIS
Swarn Jayanti Gram Swa-Rojgar Yojana is important measure in development of rural youth. Youth in rural satara has positive attitude towards Swarn Jayanti Gram Swa-Rojgar Yojana. The Swarn Jayanti Gram Swa-Rojgar Yojana is implemented properly. Rural youth has taken benefit of scheme. It has brought positive changes in the life of people.

UNIVERSE OF STUDY

Universe of study is the villages coming under satara tehsil and are fit to criteria of Swarn Jayanti Gram Swa-Rojgar Yojana

SAMPLE AND SAMPLING


Using proportionate simple random sampling. 20 % of the beneficiaries from each village No. of No. of Beneficiaries Total no.of Sample 20 will be studied.

Villages 110 per Village 25 Beneficiaries 2750 % 550

The size of sample will be 550.

METHOD OF DATA COLLECTION


Interview Questionnaire methods

will be used by researcher for data collection.

SOURCE OF DATA COLLECTION


The sources of data collection will be primary as well as secondary. The primary source

includes

the beneficiaries, The official staff implementing scheme.

The secondary source


consists

of books, journals, web etc.

TOOLS OF DATA COLLECTION


interview schedules for beneficiaries will be used. Questionnaire and Interview schedule will be consisting a list of questions will be used for official staff of scheme.

DATA ANALYSIS:

The responses to the interviews and questionnaire will be rated in percentages. The percentage of respondents for each alternative will be given and analyzed by the extracted and interpretative tables. Suitable statistical methods would be applied for analysis and interpretation. The data collected will be analyzed using the computer software known as Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS).
