LAWS ARE FIXED; SO ARE THE CONSEQUENCES OF BREAKING THEM.

The ultimate happiness and prosperity can come from being attuned to the universal principles. Our behaviour and Values that are not in harmony with the universal laws take us away from bliss, beauty and abundance.

AN ALARM REACTION

STAGE OF RESISTANCE

STAGE OF EXHAUSTION

An Alarm Reaction: Consists of physiological changes.

A threatened organism immediately moves to restore its normal functioning. Same general pattern of Bio-chemical changes. e.g. People suffering from different illnesses all complain: Headache, Fever, Fatigue, Aching Muscles and joints, Loss of Appetite, General feeling of being unwell. The Alarm Reaction mobilizes the bodys defenses for restoration of inner balances.

Stage of Resistance: Organism Appears to develop a resistance to the stressor.

Increase secretions from the anterior pituitary and adrenal cortex. (ACTH and Cortin) respectively

Symptoms that occurred during the first stage disappear.

There is reduced resistance to other stressors.

Even a weak stressor may now produce a strong response if it comes when the bodys resources are engaged in resisting more potent earlier stressor. General resistance to disease is reduced in this stage of resistance.

The Stage of Exhaustion:

The anterior pituitary and adrenal cortex are unable to continue secreting their hormones at the increased rate. The organism can no longer adapt to the chronic stress. Many of the symptoms of the alarm reaction (1st stage) now begin to reappear. Destruction of bodily tissues and even death may occur.

Non-Specific Response of the Body to any demand made upon it

Any stress promoting activity whether pleasant or unpleasant imposes a non-specific demand on the body to readjust or adopt itself to the stress producing activity.

RECENTLY

STRESS Stress is a fact of life. It is impossible to avoid stress completely. Stress cannot be zero. Stress can be reduced. Stress can be Minimised.

Life is a continuum between movement and rest; Action & let-go; Tension & Relaxation; Using & Regaining Energy. The Dynamic of life is Change. Stress is Inevitable & Necessary Process, with which the organism adjusts itself to changing situations in life. When this process is balanced it is:
EU-STRESS

High

EU-STRESS

Activity Energy Tension

Time

Low

When this Process is out of balance it is : DIS - STRESS Too much activity tension energy High

Activity energy tension Low

Time

Too little Activity tension Energy

Stress Comes from feeling out of control.

Two rules for Stress Management : 1.DONT SWEAT FOR THE SMALL STUFF

&
2.IT IS ALL SMALL STUFF.
