Concept of training
Training is a process in order to change human being attitude, knowledge, skills and behavior. It is TASK oriented T --> Training A --> Attitude S --> Skill K --> Knowledge Training has specific goals of improving one's capability, capacity, and performance

METHODS
ON THE JOBOn-the-job training takes place in a normal working situation, using the actual tools, equipment, documents or materials that trainees will use when fully trained. The motto of such training is learning by doing.

Off the job training


In this method training is provided away from the actual working condition. It is also called as vestibule training i.e., the employees are trained in a separate area where the actual working conditions are duplicated. It is generally used in case of new employees.
