Nokia NetAct Link Options

Digital X.25 interface, AS7-B
(PCM time-slot-based O & M interface via A Interface)

An O&M interface via transcoders and transmission equipment For network management interfaces in PCM time slots

LAN (Ethernet) interface, via LAN connector panel

LAN Ethernet interface for faster access This is the default NetAct link interface Connected via LAN connector panel on top of the cabinet

The LAN interface redundancy is implemented by providing a redundant LAN connection The digital X.25 interface can optionally be redundant by using duplicated units

BSC Peripheral Options

Visual Display Unit, VDU A visual display unit is used as a user interface at BSC site. By using a VDU terminal, the user can perform normal operational functions, using MML commands, and diagnostic tests on various units. Visual display units can be connected to the OMU in the same way as printers by using the interfaces that comply with the ITU-T Recommendation V.24. Present VDU type VT1010 is composed of four different units: - Display 17" monitor, - Display Controller, - Keyboard, standard 105, - Cables from the BSC to the display controller. BSC3i Power Supply

The input voltage is between 41.5 V and 72 V. Because the range is wide, the main battery voltage of the BSC3i can be 48 V or 60 V. In both cases, it is possible to use a direct floating battery. The estimated power consumption of the BSCC cabinet with maximum equipment configuration is 1810 W.
