In 2009-2010, Missouri State-West Plains

For the second year in a row, was recognized by The Great Colleges to Work For program sponsored by The Chronicle for Higher Education. Missouri State-West Plains was one of only 20 two-year colleges receiving the recognition this year. Maintained level tuition for FOUR consecutive years including the current fiscal year. Awarded approximately 3,400 associates degrees by the end of the 2010 summer session. While we are still checking the final numbers, we feel confident in saying that during the most recently completed academic year (2009-2010) Missouri State University-West Plains awarded about $10,000,000 in financial aid all of which eventually goes to supporting local and area economies.
