Entry-level MT Training (ELMT) complies with TESDA requirements for NC-II

Independent Program
This program complies with TESDA prescribed entry level training program for medical transcription. This program can be offered in as short as 3 months to 6 months depending on the course schedule breakdown. This program requires a TESDA registration prior to program implementation.

ELMT Curriculum
Curriculum Integrated Program (CIP)
This is the same TESDA prescribed entry-level training program for medical transcription but was revised to fit the semestral offering of colleges and universities. The ELMT program was converted into a sixsubject offering that can be offered per semester. This program is an ideal integration/enhancement program to enrich existing content offerings of various courses.

ELMT curriculum
Online-Blended ELMT Program
This is the 360 hour TESDA prescribed entry level training
program for medical transcription but with an online training component. The program is a 12 week course which combines selfpaced online training and training instructor guided facility based training. Each trainee will be given at least 17 hours worth of materials and activities each week that the trainee is expected to study and accomplish in their on preferred pace.

Online-Blended ELMT Program
Each trainee is required to attend all the facility based
training sessions which is at 6 hours per week. After the 12 week course the trainees take a validation exam that is a requirement prior to having another 160 hours of online on-the-job simulation for medical transcription. The 160 hours or 4 weeks of online on-the-job simulation can be done at home, school facility, partner internet caf or partner medical transcription company.

What is OJS?
The Online On-The-Job Simulation or OJS program a 160-hour simulated transcription exposure that provides students with the opportunity to have a near-production experience even if done outside an actual MT production facility The online OJS increases the chances of landing an MT job because of exposure to near-authentic medical transcription dictations. Aside from the exposure to different voice files of different difficulty and specialty and the students are given feedback on all work done. These valuable feedbacks are necessary to increase student accuracy and productivity This program can be utilized by any existing ELMT Training Center
