Allah says in this Ayah after Fatah Makkah, that NOW I have completed my favor on you.

(Al-e-Imran3:175)

It is only Shaitn (Satan) that suggests to you the fear of his Auliy' [supporters and friends (polytheists, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allh and in His Messenger, Muhammad SAW)], so fear them not, but fear Me, if you are (true) believers.

Surah Al-Tawba 9:18 The Mosques of Allh shall be maintained only by those who believe in Allh and the Last Day; perform As-Salt (Iqmat-as-Salt), and give Zakt and fear none but Allh. It is they who are on true guidance. (18)

Abu Sa'id (RA) narrated the following Marfu (elevated) Hadith:

2:150

"It is the weakness of certainty (complete Faith) to seek pleasure of others by displeasing Allah and to praise others for the livelihood which was provided by Allah and to blame others for the thing not bestowed by Allah. Not even the greediness of the most greedy person can bring the livelihood of Allah, and not even anybody's aversion can prevent it." [Reported by Abu Nu'aim in Al-Hilyah].

`Ai shah (RA) narrated that Allah's Messenger (SAW) said: "Whoever seeks Allah's pleasure at the cost of men's displeasure, will win the pleasure of Allah and Allah will cause men to be pleased with him. Whoever seeks to please men at the cost of Allah's displeasure, will win the displeasure of Allah, and Allah will cause men to be displeased with Him. [Reported by Ibn Hibban in his Sahih].
Kitab At-Tauhid (The Oneness of Allah)

2:150 Prophet(SAW) said: Let not any one of you belittle himself."
Sahabas said: "O Messenger of Allah, how can any one of us belittle himself?" He said: "He finds a matter concerning Allah about which he should say something, and he does not say, so Allah (mighty and sublime be He) says to him on the Day of Resurrection: 'What prevented you from saying something about suchand-such and such-and-such?' He will say: 'It was out of fear of people.' Then He says: 'Rather it is I whom you should more properly fear.' Hadith Qudsi

In the event of fear and anxiety one should seek the help of Allah and frequently recite the Verse of the Noble Qur'an,

Surah Al-E-Imran (3:164)

Indeed Allh conferred a great favor on the believers when He sent among them a Messenger (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves, reciting unto them His Verses (the Qur'n), and purifying them (from sins by their following him), and instructing them (in) the Book (the Qur'n) and AlHikmah [the wisdom and the Sunnah of the Prophet SAW (i.e. his legal ways, statements, acts of worship)], while before that they had been in manifest error.

The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is introduced in the Quran in these words: 2:151
[And We have not sent you forth but as a mercy to mankind. ]

(Al-Anbiyaa: 21:107)
Verily, there has come unto you a Messenger (Muhammad SAW) from amongst yourselves (i.e. whom you know well). It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty. He (Muhammad SAW) is anxious over you (to be rightly guided, to repent to Allh, and beg Him to pardon and forgive your sins, in order that you may enter Paradise and be saved from the punishment of the Hell-fire), for the believers (he SAW is) full of pity, kind, and merciful.

(Surah Al-Tawba 9:128)

2:151

Allah also criticized those who did not give this bounty its due consideration, when He said in
Surah Ibrahim (14:28)
Have you not seen those who have changed the favors of Allah into disbelief (by denying Prophet Muhammad SAW and his Message of Islam), and caused their people to dwell in the house of destruction

Ibn `Abbas commented, "Allah's favor means

Muhammad (SAW).'' Therefore, Allah has commanded the believers to affirm this favor and to appreciate it by thanking and remembering Him. Ibn Kathir

Ibn `Abbas commented, "Allah's favor means Muhammad (SAW).'' Therefore, Allah has commanded the believers to affirm this favor and to appreciate it by thanking and remembering Him. Ibn Kathir

Thankfulness means that you do not look upon yourself as worthy of the gracious favor you have received. Thankfulness means focusing attention on the source of the benefit, not focusing attention on the benefit itself.
The thankfulness of the common folk is for food and drink and clothing, while the thankfulness of the elite is for the spiritual values conferred upon their hearts.

Adhkaar from Sunnah

2:152

Abdullah ibn `Amr ibn al-As said: "I saw the Prophet counting the glorifications of Allah on his right hand's fingers." (Tirmidhi, Nasa'i, Abu Dawud, and Ahmad.)
Yusayra bint Yasir reported that the Prophet commanded them (the Emigrant women) to be regular in remembering Allah by saying tahlil (la ilaha illallah) and tasbih (subhan allah) and taqdis (allahu akbar) and never to be forgetful of Allah and His Mercy, and to count them on their fingers, for the fingers will be questioned and will speak. (Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, and al-Hakim.)

It was narrated from Abu Dharr that the Prophet (SAW) said: For every bone of the son of Adam a charity must be given each day. Every Tasbeehah (saying Subhaan Allah -Glory be to Allah) is a charity, every Tahmeedah (saying Al-hamdu Lillaah -praise be to Allah) is a charity, every Tahleelah (saying Laa ilaaha ill-Allah -There is no god but Allah) is a charity, every Takbeerah (saying Allaahu akbar -Allah is Most Great) is a charity, Enjoining what is good is a charity, Forbidding what is evil is a charity, and two Rakahs (Nafil) offered in the mid-morning (Duha) is sufficient. (Muslim, 720)

Adhkaar from Sunnah

2:152

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allahs Apostle said, Whoever says, Subhan Allahi Wa bihamdihi, {Allah is free from imperfection and His is the praise}. One hundred times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea. (Bukhari, Book #75, Hadith #414) Reported in the hadith of Ali ibn Abi Taalib (RA), who said that Fatimah (RA) came to the Prophet (SAW) and asked him for a servant. He said, Shall I not tell you of something that is better for you than that? When you go to sleep, say Subhan Allah 33times, Al-hamdu Lillah 33 times, and Allahu akbar 34times.
(Bukhari, 4943)

The Prophet (SAW) used to seek refuge from the jinn as well as from the evil eye until Surah al Falaq and An Naas were revealed. When they were sent down, he utilized them and left other things. (At-Tirmidhi #1984, Riyad as-Salihin by Imam an-Nawawi Ch.183 #1014)

Also in this Ayah, Allah commands that He be thanked and appreciated, and promises even more rewards for thanking Him.

Abu Raja' Al-`Utaridi said: `Imran bin Husayn came by us once wearing a nice silken garment that we never saw him wear before or afterwards. He said, "Allah's Messenger said: Those whom Allah has favored with a bounty, then Allah likes to see the effect of His bounty on His creation, or he said, "on His servant'' - according to Ruh (one of the narrators of the Hadith). Ahmad (Ibn Kathir)

2:152 Thanking others for gifts and favors etc., is a basic moral duty often ignored by people The Prophet (SAW) said as narrated by Abu Hurairah: He who does not thank people, does not thank Allah
(Ahmad, Tirmidhi).

He also said: Whoever does you a favor, then reciprocate, and if you cannot find anything with which to reciprocate, then pray for him until you think that you have reciprocated him
Abu Dawood (1672).

Wa Iya Kum

In another hadith, he said: Whoever has a favor done for him and says to the one who did it, Jazak Allahu khayran, has done enough to thank him

Surah Luqman

From Ibn Qayyims Patience and Gratitude

`Abdur-Rahman bin Zayd bin Aslam said,

2:153

"Sabr has two parts: patience for the sake of Allah concerning what He is pleased with (i.e., acts of worship and obedience), even if it is hard on the heart and the body, and patience when avoiding what He dislikes, even if it is desired. Those who acquire these qualities will be among the patient persons whom Allah shall greet (when they meet Him in the Hereafter; refer to Surat Al-Ahzab 33:44), Allah willing.''
Ibn Kathir

Their greeting on the Day they shall meet Him will be "Salm: Peace (i.e. the angels will say to them: Salmu 'Alaikum)!" And He has prepared for them a generous reward (i.e. Paradise)

Beautiful Patience=Sabr Jamil

Surah Yusuf

2:153

He [Ya'qb+ said: So patience is most fitting (for me). May be Allh will bring them (back) all to me. Truly He! only He is All-Knowing, All-Wise." (12:83)

Mujahid said, Beautiful Patience is patience without any panic Al Khawwas said, Patience means to adhere to the rules of the Quran & Sunnah

Amr Ibn Qays said, Beautiful Patience means to be content with adversity and to surrender to the will of Allah
Yunus Ibn Yazid said, I asked Rabiah bin Abdurrahman: What is the ultimate of patience? He said to be outwardly the same at the time of affliction as one was the day before it struck. *this does not mean that a person does not or should not feel pain or anguish: patience in this instance means that one refrains from panicking and complaining.] Qiyas bin al Hajjaj said, The person who is suffering from some afflictions should behave in such a way that nobody is able to distinguish him from others.
From Ibn Qayyims Patience and Gratitude

No contradiction between patience and complaining to Allah

2:153

Crying out and Complaining to Allah does not mean that a person has no patience. In the Qur'an, we find Ya`qub (AS) saying, "How great is my grief for Yusuf" (Yusuf 12:83). Sabrun jameel refers to patience with no complaint to other people. Complaining to Allah does not cancel out patience, as Ya`qub said,

"I only complain of my distraction and anguish to Allah" (Yusuf 12:86).

Allah also enjoined Sabrun Jameel on the Prophet (SAW) and he obeyed, but he would pray, "O Allah, I complain to You of my weakness and helplessness."

From Ibn Qayyims Patience and Gratitude

Salat-A remedy to all problems

"Verily, As-Salat (the prayer) prevents from AlFahsha' (i.e., great sins of every kind) and AlMunkar (i.e., disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil, wicked deed).'' (Al Ankaboot 29:45)

2:153

Salah, is the most perfect model of Sabr. In the state of Salah, one binds oneself to obedience and worship, and restrains oneself not only from all that is sinful or reprehensible but even from what is otherwise permissible e.g., from eating or drinking or talking. Salah is a visible demonstration of Sabr.

Success is surely achieved by him who purifies himself, And pronounces the name of his Lord, then offers prayer. (Al Ala 87:14-15)
Seek help through patience and prayer. It is indeed exacting, but not for those who are humble in their hearts (Al Baqara 2:45) Guard strictly the Salah, especially the middle Salah. And stand before Allah with obedience. (Al Baqara 2:238)
