African rich cuisine is very rich in terms of choice of ingredients and style of cooking. Traditionally, the cuisine of Africa use a combination of fruits, cereal grains and vegetables, as well as milk and meat products.

Vegetables African eggplants also known as garden eggs. Garden eggs are native of West Africa.They are cooked as ingredients in most African cuisine stew and soup. African eggplants can be fried and served with meat or fish. When garden eggs become red they are not good for eating.

The African people should have an healthy eating. They should not consume less than 1,500 calories per day. The healthy eating chart itself is divided into 5 parts. Each part of is for one food group and explains what should be chosen within that food group as well as the quantities that should be consumed.

In Africa most of the diseases came from a bad alimentation diet. People dont eat enough food or they dont follow the healthy eating chart.

In Africa more than one billion people do not have enough clean water. As a result, more than 2,500 children are dying each day. When people are desperately thirsty, they are willing to take the risk of disease by drinking water that may not be healthy. It's either risk of infection or die from thirst.

Unsafe drinking water can carry diseases such as trypanosomiasis, intestinal worm infections, dengue, schistosomiasis, deadly diarrheal, cholera and dysentery.

In Africa there are lots of diseases that are not just food or water diseases but also that came from bugs like malaria, Tsetse and Trypanosomiasis.

Sleeping sickness is transmitted by tsetse flies. Tsetse have existed for at least 34 million years. There are 23 species of tsetse flies. Diseases transmitted by tsetse flies kill 250,000300,000 people per year.

Malaria is an infectious disease. It is caused by parasites. People catch malaria when the parasite enters the blood. The parasite causes a deadly infection which kills many people each year.
