    1st Read the question carefully and find the
    points.
    2nd Create an outline
    3rd Write! Answer the questions directly, if
    you aren’t sure use a definition AND an
    explanation.
    Unless the essay specifically says so you
    will never get credit for JUST writing a
    definition, you must APPLY it to the
    situation in the essay
