2. Adverb of frequency often go between the subject and the verb. E.g. We always go to Alor Setar on Saturday 3. Adverbs of frequency are always after the verb to be. E.g.He is usually hungry. 4. Adverb of frequency should always go between two auxiliaries. E.g. I have never been to Melaka. We have seldom seen such beautiful flowers.

Exercise : Move the adverbs of frequency in these sentences if they do not follow the rules on good style. 1. I get up usually at 7.00 a.m. 2. She is sometimes late for work. 3. Exercise : Correct the word order of these sentences so that they follow the rules on good style. Beware! Not all the sentences need to be corrected.
