Significance of the Study

This study sought to determine the effects of Isopropyl Alcohol, used as pesticide, in the pH Level and NPK Content of soil which deemed significant to the following fields: Soil Science. This research can provide further information and knowledge regarding the reaction or effects of Rubbing alcohol used as pesticide when poured then absorbed by the soil. This can introduce Soil Science a new view of the relationship of the alcohol pesticides and soil. Community. This study can provide awareness on the benefits and usefulness of the analysis in discovering the consequences of contact between Rubbing Alcohol and the soil. This can also pursue the public to act if needed.

Statement

of the Problem

This study aims to determine the effect of rubbing alcohol on the properties of the soil. Specifically: it seeks to answer the ff. questions:

1. What is the effect of the application of rubbing alcohol in different concentrations on the pH level and NP Content of the soil? 2. Is there a significant difference in the effectiveness of the different concentrations of rubbing alcohol in terms of the pH level and NP Content of the soil they are applied on?

Hypotheses

1.

2.

Ho The rubbing alcohol will not improve the soil. Ha The rubbing alcohol will improve the soil. Ho The different concentrations of the rubbing alcohol will not affect the effectiveness of the solution in terms of the pH level and NP content of the soil they are applied on.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSIONS

This

study aimed to evaluate the effects of Isopropyl Alcohol as pesticide to the pH Level, Nitrogen and Phosphorus Content of the soil. Two treatments of alcohol were used: 0% & 70% Table 1 showed the results of the variations in the pH Levels. The outcome of the first and second replicate is 6.4 changing to 5.8 after the application of 70% alcohol.

CONCLUSION
The

first problem aimed to find out the effect of the rubbing alcohol on the soil in different concentrations. to the results, the application of the rubbing alcohol on the soil resulted to the lowered values of the pH level, nitrogen and phosphorus content of the soil.

CONCLUSION
The

cont.

second problem sought to determine the significant difference among the effects of the two different concentration treatments of rubbing alcohol applied on the soil in terms of pH level and NP content.
results implied that there was no significant difference among the effects of the two different concentration treatments in terms of pH level and NP content.
