Introduction
The project Wi-Fi Based Advanced Robotic Vehicle for Surveillance is proposed to design a robot which works wirelessly. The wireless method used here is Wi-Fi, using the Wi-Fi robot is controlled. The desirable wireless standards used in this design is IEEE 802.11b/g (WiFi). The robot has a camera which sends the live video to the user, where the user will be using a LAB-VIEW to monitor the robot.

This Wi-Fi based robotic vehicle have front end wheels help it to take left and right turns and rear end wheels to move forward and reverse.

Objective
The main aim is to design and implement Wi-Fi based controlled robot to
supervise industry or large halls of protected area where human beings cannot function effectively.

Block Diagram & its Explanation

WI-FI Transmitter: The four WI-FI coded command signals are transmitted to Robotic Vehicle in the form of wi fi data packets. WI-FI Receiver: This Receiver part is fitted on the Vehicle and receives the command signal for execution. The four command signals are received by this stage. This stage decodes that WI-FI coded signals and fed to micro-controller chip for command execution. This Micro-controller process this command signals and fed to driver stage for further execution. The driver stage boosts the command signals and actuates respective relays. Here the Indicator stage gives the indication to show which relay is activated. The relays form switching stage which smartly actuate respective relay and helps to execute the command. The four command signals helps user to control the movement of Vehicle.

Advantages
Simple in design. Low power consumption, and compact size.

Linear, smooth & easy control of the vehicle due to employ of Microcontroller chip. High reliability, due to the usage of power semiconductor devices and programmable Micro-controller chip. Greater control range due the usage of Wi-Fi communication.

Applications
This robot can be used for industries. This robot can be used for defense purpose.

This robot could be used in mining fields where humans cant go inside.
This robot can also be used in house hold security

Future Work
To improve the performance of Wi-Fi surveillance robot Firstly, a Global Positioning system can be installed into the system. The future developer can program the robot to patrol several check points from time to time automatically. The increase of patrols will enhance the performance of monitoring.
