This is to save boiler tubes from running dry. Till wet conditions prevail, 30% of TMCR flow is maintained in boiler tubes.

This is to save boiler from extreme high pressure of main steam in case of failure of safety valves

This protection saves boiler tubes from damages due to high temperatures. Boiler tubes material can not withstand the very high temperature of 565 and 590 deg C for a long time. This high degree of temperature may result in joint failures and tube leakages.

This trip protects the tubes from overheating and a potent failure. High water wall tube temperatures are an indication of over-firing, low water wall flow, or a combination of both.

Boiler is directly tripped on turbine trip protection that opens the vacuum breaker like: Axial shift high and turb bearing vibrations very high.

It can be done before light up and No MFT conditions are present. All HONVs are kept closed. HFO control v/v is opened. HORV is closed. HOTV is opened for 15 sec . When HFO pressure is 14 kg then HOTV is closed. Now for 60 sec, trapped pr is monitored for any drop in pr. HONVs/HORV leak test is successful, if pr drop is below 1 kg.

HORV is opened to drop the HFO pr to 10 kg and again HORV is closed. Now for 60 sec, trapped pr is monitored for any rise in pr. HOTV Leak test is successful, if pr rise is negligible.

In AB elevation, only HFO or LFO can be taken in service at a time.

In AB elevation, Combination of HFO or LFO can be taken in service at a time.

AutoCAD, Promise, and the One-Step ALG provide tools for automated application engineering programming tool to the ECS-1200 control system.

Applicationengineers use the AutoCAD with the Promise software to define control algorithmsin the formof CAD logic diagrams. The Promise software runs as an add-on to AutoCAD and allows users to set up various attributes for the drawings and their components. The information for each Promise project is storedinan associated databasethat is accessible toutilities of Promise.
After the logic diagrams for a particular application have been completed, utilities of Promis e extract specified data from the database and produce a set of report text files. The One-Step software processes these report files and contents ofthe AutoCAD logic diagramsto produce two output files:anequation textfile and logic graphic files. Once the equation text file is completed, anHFC compiler produces the downloadable application code.

The sensor works with a Transceiver (transmitter and receiver) which is looking into the measuring pipe by means of a special hollow antenna with a frequency of 24 Ghz and with an output of approx. 3mW. The transmitter sends in CW (Continuous Wave) and develops thus a homogeneous high frequency field in the pipe
