We share our abundance with those less fortunate, honor our heroes, triumph with those who have accomplished their goals, pay tributes to those lost in senseless tragedies and console those in our community that need consoling. A TRIBUTE TO SANDY HOOK

Our Abundance
Change for Change, is a project that began four years ago. The students are asked to donate a nickel once a month and $35 is sent to support our adopted child through World Vision. The little boy lives in Tanzania, Africa. Due to the generosity of our students, there is always overage; every year for Christmas we send the balance in the account to Tumwesigi and his family, and begin in January at $0. The Kempt 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament is held in October and the proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen Research Fund. This event is in honor of one of our teachers lost to breast cancer.

Diabetes Walks in three years we raised over $50K for The American Diabetes Association.
Annual Food Drives for Thanksgiving and the Superbowl of Caring provide food for the Houston Food Bank. Community Service Projects are performed by our Athletes, Student Council, cheerleaders and NJHS. Annual Jump Rope for Heart. And more.
