A STUDY ON CUSTOMERS SATISFACTION ON AIRTEL MONEY AT MANGALORE

Objectives of the Study:


To identify the satisfaction level of Airtel Money customers. To know the customer behaviour and response towards Airtel Money. To identify the customer opinion about Airtel Money. To recommend for improving the product. To gather customer demographics. To find out the factor influencing the Airtel Money customers.

METHODOLOGY OF STUDY:
Developing the questionnaire regarding the customer satisfaction of the product Get the questionnaire filled by the customers in the

place through interview or personal interaction.


Analysis of data on statistical package called MS EXCEL. Diagrams

Limitation of the Study:


The study is restricted only to AIRTEL, Mangalore

respondents. The view of their other areas is not taken.


Few respondents answer was collected. Respondents concentrated where the customers of AIRTEL MONEY only. Since the researcher selected 50 sample size it is not sufficient to cover opinion of entire population. Time duration in conducting the research is low.

FINDINGS:
The 75% of the male are using the Airtel money and only the 25% female are using Airtel Money, most of customers who are using Airtel money are young stars. The Airtel money is used mostly the private employees and government employees

compared to other occupation.


The 80% of the customer are using other network other than Airtel for their personal or family use. The 84% are satisfied with the Airtel network with their area and 72% customer are satisfied with the Airtel customer care. The majority of the customers are satisfied with the response from Airtel employees with regards to Airtel money related problems. It has been found that Airtel money meets the requirements of the customers since majority of customers are satisfied with it.

FINDINGS:
It is found in survey that all the customers are not using all the services of Airtel Money. Only few of the services are using. Like Easy recharge, transfer of money etc. It has been found that people are using Airtel money for personal use very few customers are using this for business and other purpose. It has been found that Operation of Airtel money is generally easy, only in initial stage customers are finding difficulties. It is found in survey that Airtel money saves the time of the customers, they no need go to outlet to recharge mobile and they can pay bills via Airtel money etc. The most of the Airtel money customer are recharging between Rs.200-500. It has been found that majority of customers are not having the alternatives for Airtel Money.

SUGGESTIONS
The promotional facility of the Airtel money is very poor. So company has to take necessary step to promote Airtel money. The customer are getting problem to recharge Airtel money, because of unavailability of Airtel money retailer, there are limited retailer in Mangalore . So company has to put more outlets.

The company has to reduce service charges in Airtel money.


The company has to target the educated people other than going for uneducated people. The company also give more publicity regarding operation of Airtel money in order to attract more customers.

CONCLUTION:
The sample size is very low so it is very difficult concluding it by saying that it is the view of whole population. The time provided for the research is less.

I have understood how a research study is to be conducted


and prepare a comprehensive report. So on and so forth the study has given me a lot of exposure like meeting and

talking with different people.
