What Cause this War !?!?


*Since the collapse of the Qing Dynasty in 1911.China had been ruled by many weak warlords , but soon would be taken under control by communist leaders. Many opposed the power that the had and tried to overthrow them , they were called the nationalist. When seeing what they were trying to do Moa Zedong revolted in various war known as the Chinese civil war.

*Another cause was the Autumn Harvest Uprising which began in 1927. It began because a new policy was being formed saying that the CCP would be in charge of fomenting insurrections in the rural and urban areas incase of a revolution. After that many attempts were made by the communists party to take over cities like Nanchang, Changsha, Shantou, and Guangzhou the Autumn Harvest Uprising begins. The Nationalist didnt want this policy to take affect so the tried to stop the communist party and prevent them from taken those cities which they did.

*Moa Zedong is the leader of the communist party throughout the war and also chairman. Also in 1949 he establish the Peoples Republic of China.

*In the year 1946 American troops went to china to try and help resolve the problems they were having. Eventually they got both sides to a truce reaching an agreement on who would control which areas , but it didnt last long.
*The Chinese civil officially began in July 1946 when Chiang attacked communist parties head on. From then on the leaders of both communist and nationalist decided to solve the problem militarily. *From July to December Nationalist leader Chiangs won swift and easy victories . *Confident that he was going to win the war Chiang got the National Assembly. together to help him produce a new constitution for Chinas government .January 1,1947 the constitution approved and a year later he became Chinas first president. *The new constitution reestablished the Three People's Principles as the foundation of government . The entire system was based on "four powers of the people" vote, recall, initiative, referendum. *The nationalist victorious year didnt last long , towards the of 1947 the tide had turned into the Communist favor . *After Moa took control of China he set out


many reforms against all his political opponents around the country. Moa is said to have executed 800,000 people described as "class enemies. Many think that he has killed more than that. He also build forced-labor camps, numerous prisons, and massive "re-education" and "selfcriticism" programs in order to eliminate counterrevolutionary political ideas. *How ever Moa managed to unify China, an unrealistic goal had been achieved. In 1953 all citizens over the age of eighteen could vote for landlords except landlords and counterrevolutionaries.

In 1954, the first local representatives were elected and these representatives in turn elected provincial representatives , which in turn elected the National People's Congress, which approved a new constitution on September 28. Which stated out a series of rights that all citizens would enjoy.
