Scheduling period: To create a preview of the pending maintenance dates. The scheduling period gives the period of the preview in days, months, or years Set the scheduling period to 365 days to have a preview of the entire year for a maintenance plan. Call horizon: Call horizon is used to specify in percentage when an order should be created for a calculated maintenance date; in other words, how much time is to elapse between two planned dates until the order is created in the system (The date as of which the order can then be created is known as the maintenance call date). Ex: cycle 6 MON (180 days): planned date and completion date of the preceeding order April 01. Call horizon : 0%: order can be created immediately if the preceding order has been completed, that is, maintenance call date April 01. Call horizon: 100%: order can be called once the next planned date has been reached, that is, maintenance call date September 28. Call horizon: 90%: order can be called when 90% of the time between April 01 and September 28 has elapsed, that is, maintenance call date September 10.
