*Molluscum contagiosum
Human papilomavirus : Kondiloma akuminata Human herpes viruses : Herpes simplex virus tipe2 (Herpes genitalia) HIV/AIDS Hepatitis-B dan Hepatitis C
A. Molluscum contagiosum
membrane Lipoprotein envelope Virion contains DNA dependent RNA polymerase Member of Poxvirus family Diameter 230X300 nm
nodule 0,5 cm in diameter, oval or umbilicated - The nodules are found on the face, scalp,
arms , leg and genitalia. - Spread direct contact and varietry of vehicle. - Children are more often infected than adults. - Poor hygiene spread within families.
B. Condyloma Accuminata
Sexually transmitted disease that
> 70 tipe
The often important cause :
Low grade type : HPV-6 & HPV-11 High grade type : HPV-16, 18, 31, 33 Carsinoma cervics
: DNA Virus Transmission : Skin contact, fomites, anogenital, peripartum, or because of acquired immunocompromisation Type 6 and 11
PROPERTIES OF HPV(2)
Icosahedral nucleo capsid
Non envelope
Members of Papovavirus family
At least 100 types
PROPERTIES OF HPV(3)
E6 and E7 genes are implicated in carcinogenesis. They encode proteins that inacivate proteins encoded by tumor suppressor genes in human cells. p53 and Retinoblastoma(RB) genes are tumor suppressor genes in human cells. Inactivation of p53 and RB proteinsthe step in which a normal cell becomes a cancer cell. Approximately 30 types of HPV infect the genital tract.

PROPERTIES OF VIRUS
Morphologically identical to herpes simplex virus The virus causess chickenpox and zoster same, no significant genetic variation
Virion : spherical, 150-200 nm in diameter (icosahedral) Genome : ds DNA, linear, 124-235 kbp Replication : Nucleus, bud from nuclear membrane Outstanding characteristics: Establish latent infections Persist indefinitely in infected hosts Frequently reactivated in immunosuppressed hosts some are cancer-causing
