is conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) Board for selection of candidates into the first year of Engineering, Medical and Agricultural degree programs in various government and private institutes/colleges in Jharkhand. is a University/College level exam. is conducted by JCECE Board for a total of 1417 available seats in 13 Engineering colleges governed by the State Government. are advised not to confuse between the two.

ELIGIBILITY
The

candidates must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. is no age limit for the candidates. medically fit candidates will be allowed to take admission. candidate will have to go through a thorough medical checkup conducted by the Board / Institution as per the Eligibility Criteria norms of Jharkhand CET 2013.

EXAM PATTERN
There

are two stages of the examination as preliminary and final.

Preliminary

The preliminary entrance examination is divided into four parts Mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology. questions are of objective type multiple choice questions. are total 200 questions including all parts. marking is also there for every wrong answers. time duration of the paper will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.

ADMISSION PROCESS

can apply for JCECEby collecting the Forms at Head Post Office at your City. Cost of Prospectus and Application form is Rs. 585 for General and Rs. 310 for SC/ST Categories. have to fill the Hard Copy of forms and send it duly signed to the Office of JCECE Convenor at the address mentioned on the Form.
