The Bible is also known as Holy Scripture because it was written by men and women who were inspired by the Holy Spirit to tell us about Gods love for his children (cf CCC 105-106). The Bible is written at different times, at different places, for different purposes.

How is Word of God related with Bible?

The Bible is also known as the Word of God. Through the Bible, we learn about what God wants us to do so that one day we can be happy with Him forever. We learn about the teachings of Jesus Christ, the Word of God made flesh. The Bible is the source of the teachings of the Christian faith and of the Catholic Church.

How is testament related to Bible?

The Bible has two main parts: The first part is called the Old Testament and the second part is the New Testament. The Old Testament contains 46 books while the New Testament contains 27 (CCC 120)

The Old Testament contains stories that tell Gods great acts of love for His Chosen People, Israel. It also contains prophecies of the coming of Christ (CCC 122).

The New Testament shows the love of the Father through the life and stories of Jesus, His Only Son. Hence, the New Testament centers on Jesus Christ: His acts, teachings, passion, and resurrection, and the beginning of the Church (CCC 124)
