KNOWLEDGE
She was academically good and had a knack for QA. But her lack of practical knowledge leads to lack of prioritization, she focused mainly on a complex worksheet to impress WattleyDavis instead of spending valuable time on the manufacturing floor. Maria Chen was a fairly new consultant. She was inexperienced to lead a vague and difficult situation on her own. Her lack of experience coupled with the lack of support from David Hendry and Annette Wattley-Davis was detrimental and derailing. Her focus on technical analysis without getting first-hand information from the people and actual processes showed her Chen was not a team player. She never had any discussion with Rohan who was working in production dept. She didnt took feedback from her senior and client.

Time to time the feedback should be given and taken by the senior employee to junior employees. Company should try to balance the team with all the required expertise. Company should try to analyze and cross check the ongoing commitments of the team members. Consultants should understand the importance of practical knowledge over theoretical knowledge. There should be cohesive integrated team where the consultant and client are actively engaged in transferring knowledge and creating a learning engagement.
