Magnet

Therapy
Magnetic devices are claimed to relieve pain and to have
therapeutic value against a large number of diseases and
conditions.

Pulsed electromagnetic fields—which induce measurable

electric fields —have been demonstrated effective for
treating slow-healing fractures and have shown promise for a
few other conditions.

Relatively few studies have been published on the effect on

pain of small, static magnets marketed to consumers.
Explanations that magnetic fields "increase circulation,"
"reduce inflammation," or "speed recovery from injuries" are
simplistic and are not supported by the weight of experimental
evidence.
aka:
magnetotherapy or
magnotherapy

• usually refers to the use of static

magnets placed directly on the body,
generally over regions of pain.
Static magnets
are either attached to the body by
tape or encapsulated in specially
designed products such as belts,
wraps, or mattress pads.

are also sometimes known as

permanent magnets.
Types of Magnet Therapy
and Their Uses

• Therapeutic magnets
 Bipolar or alternating-pole
magnets
-are made from a sheet of
magnetic material with north
and south magnets arranged in
an alternating pattern, so that
both north and south face the
skin.
Electromagnetic therapy
- repetitive transcranial magnetic
stimulation (rTMS)
- is designed specifically to treat
the brain with low-frequency
magnetic pulses.
- It is also being studied for the
treatment of amyotropic lateral
sclerosis (ALS), Parkinson's disease,
epilepsy, schizophrenia, and
obsessive-compulsive disorder.
MAGNETISM IN HUMAN BODY

Magnetism works in the human body through the circulatory

system, the nervous system and the endocrine system.

Magnetism is continously penetrating every known particle, right

down to the single cell.

It's ordering effect to the living systems arise from the fact that
magnetism is a bluepring of life itself.

All energies have, as a base, this electomagnetic field.

WHAT IS MAGNETIC THERAPY?

* Improve blood circulation

* Heighten blood oxygen level.
* Enhance metabolism and blood circulation.
* Relief muscular pain and stiffness.
*Facilitate body's own healing power.
* Relief unexplainned tiredness
*Vitalize Body Energy
* Reduce stress
Are there any possible
problems or complications?

According to the FDA, magnets used for magnetic

therapy are generally considered safe.

However, implantable medical devices such as

pacemakers, defibrillators, or infusion pumps may
be adversely affected by magnets.

Relying on this type of treatment alone and

avoiding or delaying conventional medical care for
cancer may have serious health consequences.
