Part of speech: verb

Meaning: to request something, usually officially, especially by writing or sending in a form Example: What are your reasons for applying for this position?

2. appreciate
Part of speech: verb

Meaning: to feel grateful for something

Example: We very much appreciated the efforts you made.

3. attribute
Part of speech: noun

Meaning: a quality or characteristic that someone or something has Example: What skills or attributes does he need in his work?

4. basis
Part of speech: noun

Meaning: a situation, fact, or idea from which something can develop Example: I tend to respond to things on a day-to-day basis.

5. candidate
Part of speech: noun

Meaning: one of the people taking part in an election or trying to get a job Example: Interviewers sometimes observe candidates having group discussions, to see how they interact.

Meaning: facts or events that make a situation the way it is Example: I usually react to circumstances and tend to respond to things spontaneously.

Meaning: when you communicate with someone, especially by speaking to them Example: We will certainly contact you if any suitable vacancies arise in the future.

Meaning: something that you do to help produce or develop something, or to help make something successful

Meaning: to say what you think will happen in the future Example: I predict that mobile phones will become obsolete by 2020.

Meaning: to say, do, or feel something because of something else that has been said or done Example: I usually react to circumstances and tend to respond to things spontaneously.
