Jesus and Mary are normal human beings

111. Surah Al-Massab (The Flame)


Abu Lahab will go to hell
He will burn in the fire of hell His wife will also go to hell with him His wife will carry firwood and her neck will be a rope of twisted fiber

110. Surah Al-Nasr (The Victory)


What the muslims should do: Exalt Allah with praise Ask Allah for forgiveness

109. Surah Al-Kafirun (The disbelievers)


What the disbelievers should say to (mono)thiests
I dont worship what you worship You have your religion and I have mine

108. Surah Al-Kawthar (The Abundance of Allah)

107. Surah Al-Maun (Acts of Kindness)


List of Sins:
Shunning orphans Discouraging feeding poor people Being headless/careless in prayers Doing good deeds to impress others (showing off)

106. Surah Quraish


The people of Quraish should be grateful and do this:
Worship Allah Thank Allah for his protection Thank Allah for feeding them

105. Surah Al-Fil (The Elephant)


The companions of the elephant were destroyed
Birds dropped hard stones of clay on them

104. Surah Al-Khumaza (The Slanderer)


Evil people:
Scorners Mockers Slanderers

What happens to them?


They get thrown into The Crusher which is in hell

103. Surah Al-Asr (The Time)


Translation:
1. By time, 2. Indeed, mankind is in loss, 3. Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to the truth and advised each other to patience.

102. Surah At-Takathur (The Abundance of Good)

Competing to be wealthier than others in this world diverts people (from being religious?) People remember and acknowledge the value of their life when they go to the graveyard People who lived their lives doing whatever they want will be thrown into hell and asked about pleasure

101. Surah Al-Qariah (The Calamity)


On the day of the Striking Calamity:
People will be dispersed like moths Mountains will be look wool, fluffed up

Monotheists who did a lot of good deeds (without showing off) will have a pleasant afterlife People who didnt do many good deeds will get refuge in an abyss of intensely hot fire

100. Surah Al-Adiyat (The assaulters)


Mankind is ungrateful Allah is a witness to everyones life Allah is well acquainted with everyone

99. Surah Al-Zalzalah (The Shaking)


The Final Earthquake:
People will ask: What is *wrong+ with it? The Earth will respond by report the news of its command

People will depart separated into categories to be shown their deeds


Whoever did an atoms weight of good will see it Whoever did an atoms weight of evil will see it

98. Surah Al-Bayinah (The Clear Evidence)


What true religion commanded:
Worshipping Allah alone Being sincere to Him in religion Inclining to the truth Praying & giving charity

Polytheists and disbelievers go to hell forever


They are the worst of creatures

Monotheists who are righteous are the best of creatures

Reward for Righteous Monotheists:


Eternal Life Allah being pleased with them; them being pleased with Allah Paradise
Gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow

97. Surah Al-Qadr (The Majesty)


Quran was revealed in Ramadan The night of Qadr is better than 1000 months (83+ years) There will be peace and goodness all night (of Qadr) for the believers until dawn

96. Al-Alaq (The Clot)


READ! (First ever revealed verse is the 1st verse in this surah) 1st ever prophet that knew how to write was Idrees (A) People should not follow Abu Jahal Man was created from a clot, a piece of coagulated blood

95. Surah At-Tin (The Fig)


Men have been created with the best of stature Disbelievers go to hell Righteous (believers) receive an endless reward

94. Surah As-Sharh (The Relief)


Muhammads (S) breast was opened and his burden was removed With the hardship there is a relief With the hardship there is a relief Same verse repeated twice to represent that there are 2 reliefs to each 1 hardship?

93. Surah Ad-Duha (The Brightness of the Day)


Allah gave Muhammad (S):
Promise of a better afterlife Refuge as an orphan Guidance Money and self-contentment

* Revealed after there was no revelation for a long time?

Divine Rules
Dont oppress orphans Dont repulse the beggars Be grateful

92. Surah Al-Lail (The Night)


Deeds and intentions are diverse People who give charity with intention to please Allah, believing in AL-HUSNA, and doing righteous deeds will be saved from Hell People who only seek reward from the people will only get that as their reward
Show-offs dont get rewarded in the afterlife, their reward is their appraisal they received on Earth

Show offs and wretched people go to Hell

91. Surah Ash-Shams (The Sun)


Allah taught Adam right from wrong Successful people purifies themselves Failures corrupt themselves People of Thamud were transgressors
Prophet Salih (A) warned them not to kill the shecamel They killed the she-camel and were destroyed (for their disobedience)

90. Surah Al-Balad (The City)


People of the right hand (people of Paradise):
People who free a slave People who give food to hungry orphans People who give good to miserable poor person(s) People who return to belief in Allah People who recommend others to
Persevere Be patient Show pity and compassion to others

People of the left hand (people of hell):


Disbelievers in the Ayat (Quranic Verses)

What happens to them?


The fire (of Hell) will be shut over them

89. Surah Al-Fajr (The Dawn)


People of Aad
Very tall humans like lofty pillars

People of Thamud
Cut out rocks in the valley to make dwellings Hewed rocks (cut them with axes)

Firaun (Pharaoh) tortured men by binding them to pegs

All 3 were transgressors and mischievous so Allah poured different kinds of severe torment on them Qualities of a BAD MAN
Thanks Allah for his blessings
Says My Lord has honored me

Claims Allah humiliated him when he is tested


Says My Lord has humiliated me

Mistreats orphans Denies adopted children inheritance with pride Dont urge to feed the poor Loves money

Descriptions of The Day of Resurrection:


Earth will be grounded to powder Everybody will be monotheists but it will be too late for people who werent before Allah will come with angels in rows Hell will be brought near The pious will be invited to and will enter Paradise

88. Surah Al-Ghashya (The Overwhelming)


What will happen on the Day of Resurrection:
Some faces will be humiliated
The wouldve worked hard associated partners with Allah They would be weary with humility and disgrace in the Hereafter They will go to hell

Whats happens to people in Hell?


They will drink from a boiling spring They will only have a poisonous thorny plant for food Neither the drink nor food from Hell will make them less hungry

The faces of others will be joyful


They were the (Islamic) monotheists and did good deeds The will go to A Lofty Paradise

Whats in A Lofty Paradise?


Harmful speech and falsehood DO NOT EXIST A running spring Thrones raised high Cups set at hand Cushions set in rows Rich carpets all spread out

Allah will punish the people who turned away from the Prophet Muhammad (S) with the greatest punishment

87. Surah Al-Ala (The Most High)


People with Taqwah (Allah Consciousness) will take the message to heart and profit from it Wretched people will avoid the message
They will go to Hell

Things that bring success


Purification of oneself Remembering the Name of the Lord (Allah) Prayer

The scriptures of Abraham, Moses, and Muhammad all say the same thing:
The Hereafter (Paradise) is much better and longer than this life

86. Surah At-Tariq (The Night Comer)


At-Tariq is the bright star
Star of piercing brightness

Every human being has a protector Man was created from water gushing forth from between the backbone and the ribs The Quran is the word that separates the truth from falsehood The enemies of Muhammad (S) are planning but Allah is also planning Muhammad (S) is told to give the enemies respite and to deal with them gently for a while

85. Surah Al-Burooj (The Big Stars)


Day of Arafat 9th Dhul Hajj People who burnt and tortured a believer will go to Hell except those who sincerely repent The righteous believers are rewarded with Gardens beneath will rivers flow The Quran is in the preserved tablet Allah knows the deeds and intentions of everybody

84. Surah Al-Inshiqaq (The Splitting Assunder)


Record received on right hand
Easy recokoning Return to family in joy

Record received behind back


Self invoked destruction Enter blazing fire and made to taste its burning

Who gets rewarded?


Believers who do righteous deeds

Who gets punished?


Disbelievers People who did not believe in the day of judgment and lived their lives in joy People who belie and reject Prophet Muhammad (S)

83. Surah Al-Mufaffifeen (Those who deal in fraud)


Sijjin a register inscribed for sinners Sinners will be veiled from seeing their Lord
They will go to hell

illiyun a register inscribed for the pious and the angels Rewards for pious monotheists [NEXT SLIDE] The criminals laughed at the believers and used to wink at each other in mockery, but when they returned they were jesters On Judgment Day the believers will laugh at the disbelievers

Rewards for the pious, God-fearing, and evil avoiding people


Delight (in Paradise) on thrones looking at all things Bright faces (of delight) Given to drink pure wine Wine mixed with Tasnim
Tasnim a spring where people nearest to Allah drink from

82. Surah Al-Infitar (The Cleaving)


Description of the Day of Ressurection:
Paradise will be cleft assunder Stars will fall and scatter Seas will burst forth Graves will be turned upside-down

Abrar pious, righteous


Go to Paradise forever

Fujjar sinners, wicked, disbelievers, evil-doers


Go to hell forever

Angels are always watching humans and writing down their deeds

81. Surah At-Takwir (Wound around and lost its light)

Description of the day of resurrection:


The sun
Wound around Lost its light Is overthrown

Stars fall Pregnant she-camels get neglected Wild beasts gather together Seas become as blazing fire and overflow

Female infants that were buried alive will get questioned Souls will be joined with their bodies Paradise will be stripped off and taken away from its place Written deeds of every person will be presented Hellfire will be kindled to fierce ablaze Paradise will be brought near

Muhammad (S):
Is not a madman He ACTUALLY DID meet and get revelation from the angel Jibreel (Gabriel) Does not withold any knowledge of the unseen

The Quran is not the word of Satan


The Quran is a reminder to the Alamin (Demons and humans)

80. Surah Albasa (He frowned)


Ash-Shalka 2nd trumpet blow People will run away from their own parents, spouses, and children on the Day of Reckoning Allah has provided humans and animals with food and water, yet some are still ungrateful The pious will be bright and happy The disbelievers and evil-doers will be dark and dust stained

Muhammads (S) purpose is NOT to convert people to Islam, it is only to convey the message It is a sin on Muhammad (S) to deny people who want to hear the message of Islam?

79. Surah An-Naziaat (Those who pull out)


An-Naziaat are the angels who remove souls
Some removals are violent; others are gentle

1st trumpet blow


The Earth and its mountains will shake violently Everybody will die

2nd trumpet blow


EVERYBODY (past & present) will be resurrected

The story of Moses and the Pharaoh is an instructive admonishing for people who fear Allah (SWT) Abode for people who followed their desires or were evil is Hell Abode for those who restrained themselves and had fear of standing before their Lord is Paradise Muhammad (S) does not know when the Day of Judgement will take place ONLY ALLAH knows when the Day of Judgment will happen On the very long day (of judgment) people will claim to have lived for only an afternoon or a morning

78. Surah Naba (The Great News)


Hell:
For the transgressors A place of ambush Abode for ages NOTHING COOL to taste , food nor drink Drink of Hell: boiling water, and dirty wound discharges Calculated punishment for ones sins

Paradise:
For the righteous Contains gardens and grapeyards Hoor-ul-ayn (Young, full-breasted maidens of equal age) live there Provides a full cup of wine NO dirty, false, or evil talk exists there Calculated reward for ones good deeds

Disbelievers will say: Woe to me! Would that I were dust!
