.........TRACE 1300 Series Modular Concept

.....TRACE 1300 - 1310 Series Modular Concept

A main electronic module that includes: main CPU, oven control, power supply.
- 2 versions: 220V and 120V

Injector modules include injector body, electronics for injector temperature and carrier gas control. Detector modules include detector cell and electronics for signal amplifier digitalization, for temperature and detector gas control. TRACE 1300 TRACE 1310 can accommodate 2 inlet and 2 detector modules (2 channels) self-recognized Additional external devices can be located into dedicated housing.

10

TRACE 1300 - 1310 Series Modularity Advantages

Modules can be tested (also analytically) separately prior testing the assembled unit
Modules can be shipped separately and assembled during the installation in field Modules can be kept in stock for fast replacement, upgrading, or change of configuration Possibly modules would be replaced without requiring a field service engineer

TRACE 1300 - 1310 HW connectivity

GC Control through Ethernet IP address

Direct connection to PC (reversed RED cable) Connection to LAN (standard GREY cable)

Two RS-232 ports for Autosampler control Thermo Fisher bus I2C with 5V power for additional auxiliary devices

23

TRACE 1300 - 1310 Ethernet configuration

MAC address fixed and assigned in the factory

IP Address -> need to be assigned

TCP Port -> 2551 (different from the one used on Trace GC)

Chrom-Card and Xcalibur accepts TCP Port=2551

ChromQuest has a different TCP Port -> need to be changed in TRACE 1300-1310

Ethernet Configuration details listed within Diagnostic menu

24

TRACE 1300 1310 Set up

From the PC, launch the Setup.exe file named TR1300ST (Service Tool) entering ThermoFisher as password, then, press OK. This SW load the whole package zip file as it is. Do not change any file inside.

25
