H.P. BYPASS SYSTEM

H.P. Bypass system bypassed steam from MS line to CRH line bypassing HPT. Function of HP Bypass:1. Raising boiler parameter during start up. 2. To warm up steam pipe lines. 3. To match live steam pressure & temp before entering into turbine. 4. Quick 5. start up of turbine. 6. Bypasses the steam to HPT & during sudden unloading of machine, tripping of machine. 7. Avoid starvation of boiler. 8. Reduce losses of steam to atmosphere.
