Aviation maintenance activities are subjected to Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) rules and regulation. All of the maintenance activities must be approved and authorized by the DCA before maintenance activities are conducted The purpose of the DCA issuing its rules and regulations is to ensure that all of the aircrafts and components are to be maintained properly and remain airworthy.
