Cake Layering Process


Current Method
1. Preparing the ingredient (batter)and the mold 2. Pour a cup of batter (about 5.1 oz) into the mold 3. Spread the batter evenly over the surface

6. Repeat step 1-5 until the desire layer wanted.

5. Remove the cake from the oven and check whether the layer is cooked.

4. Bake the 1 layer into the oven about 2-3 minutes

Propose Method
Automated machine system The Process from 1 layer to 12 layers is done automatically by the machine. Monitor by one workers only The reason is to increase productivity and good quality

Consists of: Adjustable wall Recirculating fan Conductor rod Sliding door Temperature blower motor Connected with Flatten machine

Adjustable Oven
1. Purpose for the adjustable wall is:
To control the production rate Since the oven is also movable, the different size of mold can be use according to the demand.

2. Purpose for the recirculating fan is:


To control the temperature of the oven

3. Purpose for the Conductor rod


As the heat supplied

4. Purpose for the sliding door is:
to allow the mold to enters the oven To keep the temperature in the oven without flowing out

5. Temperature Blower motor


Trigger the convection process.

Mechanism of Adjustable Oven


Heat transfer in the oven starts from the temperature blower motor. Operation of temperature blower motor will cause the convection process occur The re-circulating fan draws gas from the blower and discharges it to the conductor rod. Heat transfer of conversion is occurs between the conductor rod and the layer cake The heat flow in the oven allows the heat transferred to the surrounding
