In the month of February, in addition to the ordinary day-

Part of the promotion requires a substantial amount of advertising literature and giveaways In the month of February we have printed 2800 new brochures (Italian and English) New gadget to be added to old ones (RAI pens with highlighter and RAI rulers with incorporated magnifying lens)

A summary description

We have initiated a project in FL in cooperation with the

Italian Community Network


4751 Bayview Dr. Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. 33308 (954) 491-8000 The Tour covers several cities in FL. At each locations a RAI banner is exposed. Promotional materials are distributed and a live presentation of RAI package is made at Italian American gatherings.

1. Direct presentation of the channel in presence of the General Consul of FL and community leaders and disclosure a project to expand the RAI platform in FL: Our Presentation was highlighted in FL Community Papers. To view an example, please, click on the Adobe icon to open and view the article:

A Community leader- who later in the evening received an award- checks one of our promotional flyers in the lobby of the building hosting the convention. The bulk of the materials distributed was placed in the main Hall where the gala convention took place. (See Pics in slide #6)

The place shown in the right picture is a Ft Lauderdale coffee bar frequented almost 100% by Italians. We are checking that the RAI brochures sent had been placed in the right places.

100s of other brochures were also sent in various areas other than FL and distributed through Italian clubs we regularly cooperate

Our speech delivered in presence of the General Consul and a multitude of community leaders was received with some favor. We illustrated the characteristics and contents of the RAI package; but, more importantly, we delivered the details of a proposal aimed at expanding the RAI package in soe specified residential area of the FL state.
The proposal, was later sent to the General Consul on his own request. We expect that our proposal, because of the connections established with the institutional component and the network of community organizations, will bring positive sizeable results by the end of the year. Addendum: Beyond February


We have already initiated a couple of the activities planned for March
which require our attention at this time. The first one is the placement of ads in the Chicago Italian chamber of commerce. The ads planned for at least six months - are a small part of a comprehensive cooperation agreement designed to deepen and extend our promotional impact in the state of IL. The second is the placement of the RAI logos in the web site advertising the March concert of Maestro Ennio Morricone in NY.
. The links are on our youtube accounts. We are using
youtube for direct advertising and for them to be viewed in all of our internet Italian American sponsored sites. In addition to the two links shown in the next slides, others are planned which will show video files in the process of being manufactured.
